Q #46 game crash; is it corrupt?
I'm near the end of the game (year 2129, no mods; I do have the patch) and the game crashes with an invalid page fault in ctp2.exe when I try to take over Scotland's city Glasgow or try to end my turn (regardless if I attack or not). I fear that my saved game may have become corrupt. How can you tell if a game has become corrupt? Is there any way to fix it? Is that really likely to be my problem?

What files do you want me to post? When I installed on my aunt's computer I had to copy the whole ctp folder......needless to say when it worked it did the same thing. Just so you know I'm the Mongols and my goal was to attack Glasgow with the army of Hover Infantrys and Mobile SAMs, but it also does it when I end turn. If I back up a turn I can get to year 2130 and then it does the same thing. I'll attach just the saved game files.....if you need more to make it work let me know.............well to post wouldn't let me send it; said it was invalid file type; I'll have to email it to you.

Can you zip the saved game file, and then post it?
Does it crash as you end your turn, or during a computer player's turn?

Actually there are two different times it crashes; one is after I end turn and I believe that actually happens on the Scot's turn (the last I saw on the AI turn line was a green line, the Scot's color, before it crashed) and the second time it crashes is when I try to attack the Scot's capital city of Glasgow (I tried attacking a different city instead and I took it over and it didn't crash until I ended my turn; same if I didn't attack at all). I zipped the one particular game I was playing, but I couldn't add the turn before because then the file would be too big to post. Try this one.

PS I had to compress the zip files to the maximum it would allow to make it fit. As long as I'm doing a second post I'll send the previous turn now too.
