cheat from gamespot
Hi to all,
In the cheat section of CIV III, there is a cheat : "Enter Leemur as leader name" and receive 100.000 gold. I changed my CIV3MOD and received the Leemur leader but no money.
Anybody else tried this cheat ? Exist others cheats or codes ?

Pherhaps you need to name the UNIT that produced the great leader 'Leemur'

You want to cheat? Here's an idea
Take your UU in the editer, give it 1 shield, 10 movement, 200 attack and defense, 20 HP, able to rush improvments, all terrain as road, and blitz.
Also remove the tech requirements and resources needed.
If you STILL need help... then there is no hope.

I want the Cheat Mode from Civ 2 back. Why? To control accelerated startups, switch sides, and just enjoy myself. Why this was ever taken away I do not know.

I dunno, though I usually don't cheat, sometimes I just like to enjoy myself, like Coracle, and just cheat my arse off. Eat my Mech. Inf., you warrior dogs! Oh look, that city you were defending just came under my control, and I suddenly have the Heroic Epic (without a single GL ). Now, enjoy my wrath as I randomly kill off a city from random civs

What if he is playing the Americans? Or the Brits? You need to be more specific for people that need cheat codes in Civ III.

100,000 gold
Enter Leemur as a leader name.
|
It specifically says it is for civ3.
Now tell me something I never knew: How do you enter a leader name (as opposed to Caesar, etc.)????

I think the only thing I ever did in Civ II was to reveal the map in 4000 BC to make sure I was on a reasonable landmass. If I was feeling really naughty I might preplan my first couple of city locations before reloading the fogged map. Unfortunately in Civ III they gave the psychic wayfinder ability to all the AI nations and removed it from the human player

Hasn't anyone heard of the "multi.sav" trick, or, has it been removed from version 1.29?
I used it frequently when I first started playing civ3. That was very helpful in understanding the game mechanics, and in choosing what maps to play.
Just save your file as "multi.sav" (not "multi.sav.sav") , and reload.

Yes but do you need to put it as civilization leader (for example Zulu's leader in CIVMOD3) or in civmod3 as possible great leader. I've tried the second option and doesn't works.
The question is do you change during the game, before starting the game or in the CIVMOD3

The point is, it wont work wherever you put it. It would be too much for the civ3 guys to put a CtP2 cheat in.
