Minister of Exploration and Intelligence - initial exploration (scoutrovers and patrols) and probe teams
Minister of Industry and Energy - SP's, base structures, crawlers, worker placings, energy.....
Minister of Social Engineering - energy rate, social engineering
Librarian - tells the story

We *could* have abridged them "Minister of Ind. and E" and "Minister of Int. and E" or something but that's a lot better. Now I just have to remember which is which.

i think it would. i was reading the civ2dg and every post had only 1 candidate, even president.

How about electing just the commissioner at first, and let him worry about organizing directorate elections? It's not as if the directorate has anything to do before the game begins anyway...

Perhaps someone can complete a list of all the candidates, what positions they’re running for, and what parties they are part of. That would make things easier in preparations for elections.

Well, we had two candidates for each position most times, but then the Civ3 game started, so ppl flooded over to join the squabbling (it's still going: NEWSFLASH: Military Commander UnberKruX is calling for a revolution to change the leadership

). We lost a few more in my Presidential term when we won the game. There seem to be enough ppl here to have more than one candidate for each position, at least to begin with.
