...And as far as the ACE is concerned, we also have candidates for Commish (Crisler) and SE Director (myself), IIRC.

We need to add the Capitalist Party to our vote list. Mr. Presdident has come out publically in favor of our efforts. His financial reforms when using in concert with our social agenda and the military planning of the Hawks will be nothing but of benefit.
We now have in place the perfect goverment party. With the Fundamentalists we have the social agedna based on Biblical principles at the root, the Captialists provide use with a strong economic base from which to work, the hawks give the the Military know how that is needed.
In the end this means we can finance the army in a very high standard, this coupled with the idea of a strong but smaller force will mean they are very well financed indeed.
The added bonus brought to us by the Capitalists, is the increase in income allows us to provide a strong base for research as well, something the other parties have accused us of being weak on.
We need to stand strong in our coalition and be sure we vote for our candidates.

If I am correct the CDC has 7 members, the ACE has 8. It seems P4 has become the smallest political entity after its brilliant start. However our votes will still be decisive to decide which alliance gets the power.

M@ni@c,
Then perhpas it is time to come in out of the cold and join ACE. While none of us agree on everything, we are willing to work togehter for what we do agree on. In that way your party will be able to effectively help make our colony the best it can be.

This party is weak, inactive, and doesnt have much power in the government. P4 provides better benfits.

Career planning they call it. We also had some very persuasive arguments in our favour.

My previous post here was uncalled for, I should not have ever posted what I did. I ask the forgiveness of TM, the members of the Hawk party and of the P4 party.
I owe my election to these parties and the ACE Coalition. You all have my gratitude for your confidence in my ability to lead.
Please always keep me in your prayers and never fail to point out to me when I am wrong. When I cannot admit I am wrong is when I cannot hold this office any more.

Inactive? Hardly.
My time is just being spent on EVERY SINGLE COURT CASE in the Civ3 Demo, plus I am running for VP over there. I said at the beginning my time would be spent over there for the majority. Now, add in RL things like my 7th anniversary, and it comes down to I haven't been posting over here much.
Now, party business. I believe we should all vote against the ban on atrocities. "Ban" is not a good thing to put in the constitution. We should support any measure that would put such atrocities to public vote before commmiting them, but to outright ban them, without further say by citizens or without reguard to a particular situation is not responsible or democratic. I'll get back to more later.

Because of time constraints, jdd has informed me that he'll be unable to serve on the Constitutional Commitee.
Would the Hawks like to nominate someone to serve in his place?

jdd:
I would suggest that we officially join the Fundamentalists and become a militant group within them due to our relative lack of time in most our members. Thier goal of creating a fundamentalist Government would best suit us since Police state is denied to our faction and it will also provide a greater role playing environment for our members, as they 'fit' better in the SMAC world.
Now, Can I have an Amen?!

doesn't this statement undermine your own position by implying that you won't be as active here?
