Count the second "YES" for "No unity survey" as a "NO". A typing error

Co-op, NO restarts, no looking, tech stagnate, no war spoils, no set goals, aggressive opponents, map not visible, unity pods everywhere, random events.
Why is everyone voting for less challenge options such as flexible start locales, normal tech rate, setting our tech goals and non-aggressive opponents? Will it really be that bad?
We'lll have to do some serious thinking in the case of not being able to choose tech paths, slower discoveries and dangerous opponenets. Quite frankly I look forward to this.

ack
if you can, take 1 from the restarts option, and change it to no restarts...
i got confused by the wording, voted for the wrong one, and swung the balance of power in the wrong direction

Blind research would make the Science Advisor's role so passive...
And don't get me started on Tech Snagnation and Intense Rivally!
Not that you really could. I mean, considering they aren't going to win anyway, I would just walk over there
...
...
*Walks over there*

Look First, Spoils of War, Bell Curve.
Obviously, we must have felt that Ironman was out of the question.

When are these going to become final? Perhaps another poll should be posted soon to just ask about the rules that aren't obviously going to win since the ones below look like they're obvious now:
Bell Curve: No random events : NO
Tech Stagnation: Slower research rate : NO
Once for all: Allow cooperative victory : YES
Intense Rivalry: Oppoents more aggressive : NO
That way we could move to a debate about the others... and get the double-yes on unity survey fixed.

We already had a discussion thread about the subject. Further discussion can be done here. And every option has a difference in votes of at least 3. I would be surprised if everybody suddenly started voting on the losing option. Statistically improbable. I would suggest to finalize them now. I might of course be overhasting things.

*nods* That's what I'm thinking... or else we'll never get this game off the ground. (about just finalizing them.)

I just saw some options have come closer. I suggest an official end to this poll at 9 august 20.00 GMT. Then the poll will have been open for three days, as I suppose will be the minimum/standard time for polls in our constitution.
