eudaimonia+FM is good, but no efficiency. eudaimonia+green is what i had thought we planned all along (although i'd rather see FM+cybernetic myself)

Where do you get the idea of FM+Eudaimonia? In the end we will of course run Green-Eudaimonia, but before that is reached it'll hopefully be FM or Wealth+GA.

To let people know, the CDC is still around. We are a coalition of three of the more active parties in the game: The Liberal Social Democrats, the Centauri Communalist Citizen's Party, and the Exploration and Discovery party.
I assume people are interested in continuing the coalition? If not, we can disband it, but I think the CDC's principles are something I would like to see represented as we move toward the future as UN Peacekeepers.
Thoughts?

If people aren't interested anymore, that's one thing. However, a lack of activity doesn't necessarily mean a lack of interest. My own feeling is that people still are interested in the CDC, and to some extent identify with it, even if they haven't been actively working with it in elections. To some extent, this is a good thing -- people are running for office based on policies, not partisan endorsements. But just that the coalition isn't organizing campaigns and providing candidates for every position (as it did in the first elections), doesn't mean that it isn't functioning. As far as I know, LSD, CCCP, and EDP members still identify with the Coalition, even if it isn't on the forefront of their minds.
I still like having a coalition -- I like having the connection to fellow coalition members, the feeling that we're colleagues. I don't necessarily see it as a factious thing. The CDC has always allowed room for disagreement, and I think the Demo Game is improved by this coalition being a part of it.

All three parties (and very probably the new Green party) have no points of conflict for a while here I believe. The CDC could certainly come in handy if someone tries to fly some insane move under the radar.

1) They help people identify your basic views; if you disagree with a parties' polciies, you shouldn't be a member, ergo, if you are a member, you agree with the party policies.
2) Parties provide a place for people of similar views to discuss and reach a consensus without having people of opposite ideologies going at it, which is essentially pointless except for post counts and political point-scoring.

Well, we gotta remember that this is the members that make the party policies.

Let's see...
1st comes the founding of the party, with policy made by the founder.
2nd comes the joinging of the party by those who agree fully or partially with the party policies.
Finally, you get adjustments of the party stance to ensure a consensus among members.
