I support the existing system. It's working in all the other democracy games - PMing the results makes the system open to fraud, and I can't see any advantages in it.
thanks to everyone who's supported me so far!

I think we have shown that there is more support for the Fundamentalist Faction than many people originally felt. Excellent race, very exciting.

In five hours or so...
EDIT: Make that four and a half. Anyway, I propose that in case of a tie the run-off election closes in 2 days. I dunno about the rest of you, but it feels like this poll has been here forever even if it's just three days...

Noooo, vote for Crisler (or Darkness' Edge, if you're insane) so that we don't have tedious run-off elections!

I would like to take a moment and thank all of those that voted for me and the stance we of the Fundamentalist Faction have taken. Your support and well wishes will not be forgotten no matter what the outcome. It has been an awesome race, much closer than any expected. We of the Fundamentalist Faction are proud of our showing, win lose or draw.

Despite several extreme messages you made in the first days for the sake of RPG-ing I now consider you to be a very reasonable person, Crisler. Therefore I have no doubt you will make a great FIRST COMMISSIONER!!!

Congratulations for our first Commissioner. The poll was so close that I can only predict a good future for the game; this gives the voters a message that every single vote counts. The percentage was quite moderate, out of over 50 people (IIRC) who are citizens, 36 voted.

72% turn-up rate, that's better then in most (if not all) European democracies, we should be proud
Looks like joining the ACE was a good move after all
congratulations Chrisler

I thought it was about the burglary in Kreml in 1960, when the results for the elections of 1996 were stolen.
