Of those four civs, only the Inoquois don't exist as a nation anymore, the others have just gone through name changes. (Babylon = Iraq, Aztecs = Mexico, & Romans = Italy)
Though all four civs, including the Iroquois, have left echos through history, all were destroyed as independent civilizations and integrated into other, successor civilizations.
The Babylonians were destroyed by Cyrus the Great of Persia; the Aztecs were destroyed by the Spaniard Conquistador, Cortez; the Romans were destroyed by the onslaught of Germanic tribes; and the Iroquois were divided and destroyed by French and English colonialists.
i tend to play as England against America, France, Germany, Russia, Japan and France ... or .... as Egypt against Rome, Babylon, Greece, China and Persia
umm...i always use culturally linked starts option cos i've not noticed the option before... lol
i'm real tempted to try any good european and world maps aswell, as i mostly play random map games - map recommendations welcome
