Hacy hack hack hacks
I'm always seeing new stuff on these forums, like the new submit reply-return to forum button. Where do the admins here get 'em from, or are they written originally and put into the code or what?

You could build your own database system as well of course.

Even if Markos would have copied and pasted,
it would still be good, because:
1. you have to find the right source
2. you need to UNDERSTAND the code
3. you need to understand the code of Vbb
4. you need how to implement it
copying and pasting is no problem in the developpers world. The programming itself is the last phase. The important phase is the developping of the idea.
hey, that was my job this time
j/k.

Well programming is also an important phase . Markos, however, is an educated guy in means of PCs, so he has the knowledge.

it is important.
but copy and paste is not less 'good' than making up the code yourself.

Heh .
BTW, I discovered that ikonboard is a very good messaging system, and some of its convenience even exceeds that of vb .

Yes, a virtue is a good thing.
Its the opposite of vice (which is a bad thing).

There seems to be a small bug with the new "Submit Reply (return to forum)" button - it doesn't update cookies correctly. Threads I visited and replied to with the button still show red on the thread list.

That happens even with the submit button (when viewing multiple windows).

That's because you posted and didn't view it, and therefore it has a new post since you viewed it last.

Of the same forum, yeah. That's because of local caching I think.
