Investigating cities costs gold. I'm afraid we can't spare much of that.
Again Panag, we'll just have to take the risk.

Here's my view of cities and order or importance.
Mainly I would like to see everything east or a paris-marselles line in our hands but I know such a stunning victory would require a good deal of luck.
1)Paris(Must)
2)Orleans(Must)
3)Chartes(hope to get in negotiations)
4)Reuen(hope to get in negotiations)
5)rheimes(take after paris and orleans)
6)Marselles(a miracle and unlikely but if lucky in 2/3 previous battles it would be possible)
Most likely we will get the 1st 5 I believe. also it is possible we will get only paris and orleans by war and will get 1 or the 2 negotiated cities or perhaps a secondary force to go for chrtes could be form. Under no circumstances can we let the french keep it. Of course if we only get the 4 se cities we would have the french as a narrow barrier to the greeks not a totally bad thing. Just my 2 cents.

and we should sent a couple of workers out , to work around those cities and increase production

have a nice day

Reinforcing the narrows
As a newbie to the discussion, I wonder if there are any detailed plans to reinforcing the narrows should we gain Avingon through peace negotiaons?

Also, we will need at lest two new cities in that area. I know that is a matter for civilian authorities, but they will be military posts primarily in the short run.

I hope everyone is keeping in mind that we dare not overextend ourselves. A last minute decision may have to be made if a larger than expected number of the troops are lost in battle. The cities are going to be hostile and resisting, and it takes troops to quell them... keep all that in mind. We don't have strong culture at this point either, which doesn't help. The French have a larger population than ours, about 535k to our 487k; taking these cities could nearly double our population!

Good luck to the troops!

Out of curiosity, are the spearmen being built in Region 1 earmarked for delivery to the Fench conquered cities to quell the resistors and assist in fortifying from couter attack, or do we want the spearmen built in the conquered cities ASAP (via pop-rush). Just looking to set up my plan for the Region for the City Planners Office and fortifying those cities would be my utmost concern, followed by cultural protection via temples.
