news.....
...WAR ENDS! YAY! Well, i'm still at war with babylon, but they only have a tiny city on that ex japanese island and i cant be arsed to kill them!
My carrier battle groups are doing some traveling around the world! And some of my citizens are questioning where their sons are... it apears instead of sending them home i stuck them on some transporters to follow my battle groups around. We cant have them spreading word of what the combat is was like, they'll put off the newly 18 year olds from wanting to join the army!
My paras have done very well and managed to take plenty of citys.
The Airforce managed to bomb the **** out of citys before my units went in.
My navy did good off-shore bombardment and i think 3 times they managed to empty a city and my men just walked in!

Was the game modded? I have only had it crash on games I have download and they had been modified. Some times you can get by the crash, by reloading and not doing whatever it was that you were doing when it died. In the last case, it happened when I looked at teh troops for one civ only.

Going to the mil advisor and select the drop down for a specific civ and it crashed. Always when I selected the last civ on the list. So I stopped doing that for that game.

I have run into too many strange things with games I have downloaded that had been modified, so I only like vanilla rules.

lol, i really feel i must explain my self!
I'm totaly anti-nuke in the real world, i've studied way to meny pictures from WW2 of some of the terrible things they can do meny miles from the fallout zone.
In my last 2 games i only used nukes once or twice, i just really want to see what happens when you turn the world into one big desert! Its just somthing i want to get out of the way.
This game is of alot of fun and most of you will know, getting to point where you have a nuclear arsenal so big you can wipe your enemy out no question, your just going to want to prove it, even when you know. Even when you wait till you've launched the spaceship, meny of your agree and admit that you nuke the world into surface hell!
Ladys and gentlemen, welcome to flavor country!
-EDIT-
The inevitable is bound to make earth into a living hell , and the pollution will turn that into a .

Sorry, missed your earlier question; the chopper was a MH-53J Pave-Low and those are indeed US Marines. I got to see one on my vacation, that is one huge and very quiet bird; as it flew by my condo (~100 yds) I was impressed with the fact that it sounded much further off that what it was - and I had to wonder where those mini-guns were pointing.

Am i correct in saying you get to see a video when you launch your spaceship?

"Be patient, you get the chicken by hatching the egg - not by smashing it open."
not entirely true, i've seen a video on 'You've been framed' when they smash open an egg on the side of a boal and a bird flys out!

World Historys 3 (maby4, i don't remember!)
World Historys
Imperialist Econemy:
Even in the longest period of war since ancient times, the ministry of production, Culture, Trade and the ministry of Econemy were always closely linked. This ensured that the production of machines of war, and cultural icons were on target and preventing loss of ground, and terrotory. This involved alot of spending to increase the amount of people working on a project to get it finished at an incredable rate. The amount of spending ment in 3 years the Treasury could lose 70%. Being at the fore-front of the scientific race means that they could sell secrets to increase the treasury back to its normal rate. One problem was that selling a tech to one nation, means it was an advantage to sell it to every other nation to make sure the Empire got all the money, rather than one of its trading partners sells it to the same nation for a price and gets the money instead. One dis-advantage, was that you mite also have to sell it to an enemy.
