History Thread: The Five Most Influential Ancient Apolytonians
Here is a list of whom I deem to to be the five most influential Apolytonians of our first two terms. Open to debate of course, and please point out errors, but here they are in no particular order:
UberKrux
Our Supreme Military Comand. He has led us through our war with France, spotted an island, and is preparig for a war with France largely of his invention.
Sir Ralph
Founder and head of the most active and possibly oldest citizen's group in Apolytonia, the War Acedemy. He has extensively discussed strategy, most notably the earl, if now defunct Case Pink and served as Imperial Expansion Minister.
Trip
Our first president and a judge. He led us through war with America, to which he contributed strategy too extensively to strategy. He also sparked controversy with his reelection attempt.
punkbass2000
Ironically, punkbass has been influential by not being here than being here. His complete absense has caused impeachment discussion, angst against turnchats, and almost a full blown revolution.
Timeline
Perhaps the most controvercial citizen. The strongest supporter of party politics which has caused enough controversy alone, but he has also sparked debates over changing the Constitution.
Other important notables:
UnOrThAdOx
Robber Baron
Ninot
skywalker
Spiffor

Can you say why Robber Baron is a name to watch out for? I have seen him post, sure, but what specifically has the Baron done here so far?
(or maybe I'm just jealous )

I put him in because his the founder and head of the Machiavelli Institute. I haven't put you on because you haven't really done anything yet. Mabee for top five medieval citiens...
Mostly though, I'm just having fun here, so criticize, make your own list or whatnot.

Only according to you perhaps. But then again, what you see, the public could see through your paper I suppose....
Give me half a chance and I'll prove it too.

None of you has realized it yet but I am in fact the most influental citizen in Apolytonia.
I am the invisible hand. I direct, I insinuate, I rule from the shadows. I have connections everywhere. I see everything, hear everything, know everything!
Bow before he who holds the awesome power to mold Apolytonia to his will in his hands!
Oh, and the crop circles are real signs of alien landing sites and they're still holding Mulder's sister alive. Honest!

you have to make it it's own line, probably without formatting the text.

This thread is indeed correct...I wish I could do more history posts myself...but darn it all...I have this little thing called 'work'...and now it's a pretty big thing...and it gets bigger every minute...I'm thinking that I probably shan't be running for Historian next month, as I don't seem to have as much time for it as I'd like, I've bitten off more than I can chew, if you will. Sorry for being a let-down.

Cool, I got onto two lists.
Don't worry History Guy, at least you didn't make it onto the most influential list because you weren't around.
I'm still waiting for a clump of grass named after me. j/k.

Really, a revolution? I'm not sure why it brought angst against turnchats, given that if I'd only been missing turnchats but had been posting orders there likely would not have been much trouble. As for impeachment, I was shocked to discover that I hadn't been, to be quite honest. I mean, two weeks withoug notice? Come on.

Ill say quite simply I disagree with the list, but I wont say much more than that
history is different in the eyes of anyone. I respect that this is GoodFella's idea of history. I will remember the first two months slightly differently tho.

I think that Notyoueither should at least be among the important notables for helping to develop plan pink.

Ahhh, its great to see our first historical controversy. We should all sit back an wait for the creation of our first Poly history textbook- then wait a few months for the revisions- accusations of revisionism, unpatriotism, treason, and just laugh all the way....
List of 5 least influential Apolytoners:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Hmm, difficult. Just look at the members list and find the posters who are DLs or have not posted here once since joining.
There must be at least 70 of them.

MWIA:
those 70 would be part of the Non-existant Apolytoners. T get a coveted least influential, you must be known to everyone, but roundly ignored and laughed at for some reason.
