Turnthread plans for Wednesday
im officially making Wednesday a turnthread day.
Ministers, please use this thread to post 5 turn plans. If any less than 5 turns is provided, this may mean a shorter turnchats than neccesary, as it is unsure how many turns will be played without natural game interferences anyways.

Sorry to interrupt, but is there anyone working on a fixed set of rules for turnthreads?

Last Orders as Minister of Public Works
Finish the road next to Timeline, then send one worker to the S-S-W tile of Del Monte to build a road connecting our Empire with Mycenae. With the remaining two, continue building a road.
Since the forest is no longer being worked, pull away the two workers and have them start a road to Seeberg.
Have the three workers on the iron cut jungle around Ubergorsk.
Send all new workers where ever they are needed, but roads should be a priority.
Feel free to adjust these orders as needed.

Economy orders :
- In the event we can trade goods with other civs during the turnthread, do not buy any luxury (we'll have to face unhappiness in no sooner than 15 turns).
- Sell our excedent dyes to neighbouring Civs, Greeks and Persians in priority. If dyes can help us getting monotheism, we can trade them in this purpose.

No orders from me, as there is no settler. My advice: Start to build 2 settlers, if possible. One for Uber Island and one for further northern expansion or, if necessary, to fill a possible war related gap in France.

follow my plan here: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...threadid=58428
I believe we are on the end of turn 3 (first unloading), so my orders start on the second pic.

Since jdd seems not to give orders, I'll give diplomatic orders as well.
- Establish embassy in Germany, England and Russia.
- Sign a RoP with Persia nad Greece, if they ask 2gpt for it or less (more isn't worth)
- Take a screenshot of spied capitals please.
If jdd decides to give orders, he can overrule anythng I just said.
Edit : stressed orders which are now obsolete.

one last thing. we voted to declare war on france. go ahead with the war when the stacks are in positon. a diplomatic declaration of course, not a sneak attack.
edit: Shiber, i overruled Spiffs RoP with greece. we need one with Persia, because i highly doubt they will attack when we have an agreement like this.

Wait a second here.
You didn't discuss this with any of us. For what it matters, I wouldn't pay more than 1gpt for a RoP with Persia or Greece. In fact I don't think I'd sign a RoP with Persia at all, knowing that all our warriors are out in France and that we have towns near the Persian border guarded by warriors alone.
EDIT: If this is not the place to post such comments then please accept my apologies.

What the heck should that RoP agreement with Persia and Greece be for? Shall we pay them for their wandering settlers? Or what? And if you think that will prevent them from backstabbing and attacking, you are wrong. The AIs don't give a damn for their reputation.

perhaps 1gpt for 20 turns would be a better way of preventing them joining the French.
it works for me but I use 1.29

It's a shame that the last turns played by the 2nd government will be a thread and not a chat but if thats the way it is then so be it.
Personally I'd like to express my gratitude to the pres and other ministers for the work they have done over the previous month.
Even if this has been probably the most controversial gov ever, what with all the revolution talk, you have done what you set out to do and carried out your duties well and so should be thanked as such.
In particular those ministers not running for re-election should be thanked/respected for their contribution.

If we buy Feud before Mono we can start on Mono and then get it for a cheaper price. I see no possible way we could aquire Chivalry in 5 turns.
Also, I authorize any tech trading.

Thebes renamed to Napoleton
two workers south of Geofront rode
four workers south of Geofront move N

Worker to be built in Gaia
470
Reports indicate Persia has built Pyramids
two workers S of Geofront move SW SW
all workers in Geofront move N
workers north of Termina road
Worker in Seeburg moves S
Galleys move NE-NE-E
Swordsmen move NW
450
worker in Timeline moves NE-E
Workers near Ubergorsk clear jungle
galleys move SE-SE-E
Swordsmen stack fortify outside of France's border.
Worker near Mycenae roads
430
Spearman in Tassagrad moves to Termina

I suggest that the following executive reports will include important stats at the end of the last turn played, such as amount of money in the treasury, the rate of gain/loss of gold per turn, our civilization's score and placement in the histograph and other such stats so when citizens surf from school, work or from another location where it is not possible to load a saved game they would still have access to this important information and be able to make more educated suggestions for the next turns.

Also, where are the screenshots of Berlin and London? Is the government concealing intelligence reports?
According to my latest conspiracy theory you have discovered that the Germans are building ICBMs and you're concealing the reports in order to hold back mass hysteria (you know our people are afraid of magical exploding things).
