Extra Pack: In search for testers
The Extra Pack is done to such a degree that I want to start playtesting. Later today, I'll upload the pack somewhere (it's big, more than 20MB), but not for the public right now, only for the testing persons. I'll pm the URL to those appointed testing persons. I hope there is enough interest to get a good test.
If you're interested in becoming a tester, please post here.

Hi Wernazuma!
I'll test the x-pack if it is not too difficult to add the civs to civ3. Have you included instructions?, because I do not know how to add new civs, units or art to civ3.
20 mb is no problem!

No problem Hagbart, it's all described. You'll just have to follow the download/file-extraction guidelines and then play Civ3 as usual.
I'll send you a pm

I'd be happy to do some testing.
Anything in particular we should focus on?

Testing, testing. Is this mic on ?
Wernazuma,
I'll try it out if you still need some testers.
Did you have any parts that you wanted especially put through their paces ?

I'm playing the Celts.
I was able to start a Golden Age with a Woad Warrior, so the UU performs as it should.
The King of Poland has the same face as Genghis. Since they both share my island, I'm trying to correct the problem by eliminating the Polish, Genghis is on my side.
The map is weird btw, we have a dozen Dyes on our island and no other luxury. On the neighbouring island, the Dutch control some 15 Silks ... and that's 8 civs huddled together on two islands on a huge archipelago map (wet and cool).
There is a typo in the description of Poland ("The Poles are LINK ...").
The Mayas and Korea have the same shade of pink.

OK, I see how I'll change that.

The typo should be fixed. Did you download the corrected "Civilopedia"-file from my page?
The last thing is impossible, the Computer prevents identical colors. But maybe they're too similar, I have a look.

I'm playing the Arabs
Similar to Ribannah's problem with the king of Poland and Khan, I encountered the same with Korea using Ethiopia's head in the Foreign Minister's screen.

Encountered precisely the same phenomenon. Unfortunately, David, Mehmet, and I ended up with nothing on our landmass. (Medium Archipelago, warm world) As near as I can see, all the luxuries are in giant clumps. The Khmer got the dyes, and...I think the Mongols got the Silks. (Forgot to note that one.)
Also, the Spanish civilopedia entry seems to run a little over the edge of its box. It can all be read, but there may be issues for people with vision difficulties. Can anyone else reproduced and verify this?

Ribannah: Believe it or not, one color is Civcolor#30 and the other one is civcolor#15...
I've changed the Mayan alternative color to #16.
You can get the Civ3mod.BIC at the same place where you downloaded the other files.

I'm playing the Phoenicians
I just saw a little problem for the moment : the "rotate before attack" flag shouldn't be checked for the Phoenician quinquireme because it fires straight ahead.
That's all

Changed. In the next version of the BIC-file, you'll find this fixed.

Shouldn't the Woad Warrior be upgradeable to Swordsman?
And he looks too much like an ordinary Warrior. Why doesn't his hair stand up in spikes?

Something is wrong with the Diplomacy.
More than once now, I got the text "they would never accept such a deal" when I was asking for a lump sum of $1 (the AI had some $60), while they would agree to pay a crippling $x per turn.

That's weird because I didn't change anything about the DiploAI. I really don't have an idea what to do...

I've fixed an important bug which caused the game to crash when you negotiate with the Celts in the Middle Ages. Download the changed Civ3mod.bic again.

I don't know if it's a bug, but the Mayas seem to like attacking my Pikemen with their Balam Warriors (1.2.1) but these warriors should rather be a defensive unit
And they have Horsemen but they almost never use them to attack

You're right, they were set defensive AND offensive. I'm not sure anymore, but I guess I did this, because they replace Warriors .
I've changed the Civ3mod.bic on my download-page.

OK, but it's right that they should be used as an offensive unit when they have nothing better, because if the Mayas have no offensive unit anymore, they won't attack nobody before they have a better unit
Maybe it isn't too important...

To Wernazuma: When are we supposed to end the testing? Sorry I've not had too much free time to play civ3 the last week (school just started).
