I voted no. Apo and Lyton are really, really unoriginal, and pretty boring names...they almost make me wince.

I support Genghis' proposal.

Out of curiousity has any one realized that Lyton is part of Apolyton, not Lipton?
Great job Spiffy, too bad the vote is not going your way. BTW I voted yes, and I don't want it based on 12 or some other number.

I agree banana is a very uncreative name for our currency. Come on people, yes we live in a jungle, but in case you haven't noticed there are NO BANANAS in this jungle. Any way the great banana is a fraud, if he was such a great god he could pull better than 25% in an election, he might even lose if he was uncontested.

The GREAT BANANA has far better things to do than run in a piddly little election. It is mearly her underlings and such that run. It is simply because they are so poor in comparison to the GREAT BANANA that they never seam to win.

Please watch your herisy in regards to the GREAT BANANA, else the large stake out front with the pile of flamible lumber around it is looking for someone to BBQ.

No, it ends tomorrow, the poll started on the 14th and was set to last 3 days, so it will end at 17:43 on the 17th. That's what the poll said originally, I think Spiffor simply made a mistake when he calculated the end day.

Edit : Epistax : this isn't a contradiction (although it's worded poorly). The optional expiration date doesn't concern the poll itself, but the policy adopted by this poll.

For example, we can imagine an official poll whose result is "our treasury shall never go uner 100 Lytons, never". OR, we could have another policy like "For the next 10 turns, we must get 60 gpt or more".

That's not a contradiction. Read CLOSELY, it states the optional limit is on the RESULTS of the poll, not the poll itself.

Oh well, at least there are more Yes votes than no votes. However, the validity of the poll is something that must be determined. I believe that there is no doubt that it will go before the Supreme Court, considering the stakes and the discovery's made about polls in the CoL.

I apologize to all those who rushed their vote because of my mistake.
However, the poll is due to close Saturnday at 17:43 GMT. Except if I forgot to put the expiration date (which I doubt, it's something I care of), the officialness of the poll isn't jeopardized.

In the unlikely hypothesis I forgot to put an expiration date, then we'd have a choice : taking the results Sat. 17:43 GMT, and consider them official ; OR making this poll unofficial, and thus not binding.

Overall, I think solutions are simple, should the problem arise. No need to overcomplicate them.
