Public Works plans
This should adequately cover the next few turns! Hopefully my pending vacation won't cause too much of a problem. I should still be able to keep in touch though!
Current Plans for 430 BC:
Termina - Workers N of Termina will complete road in 3 turns. edit: After completion, continue building road NW toward Chartres. Since jungle greatly inhibits unit movement, we should be able to see enemy forces approach us without the threat of losing our workers. If you see workers, please return to Termina.
Gaia - Worker stack currently W, S of Gaia. Build a road on current tile. After completion, move stack towards Timeline. Clear jungle NE of Timeline.
Ubergorsk - Worker stack N, NE currently clearing jungle. After jungle is cleared, build road. After road is build, mine Iron.
Geofront - Worker Stack N currently building road. After road is completed, clear jungle on this tile, then continue building road towards Napoleton.
Seeberg - Worker S building road. After completion, move SW and build road toward Gaia.
Del Monte - Worker S, SW building road to Greece. After completion, move E of Del Monte and mine grassland with shield.

I'm sorry if I'm misunderstanding the last sentence in UnOrthOdOx's post but aren't we having turnthreads instead now?

Shiber - turnthreads are now the norm, but why should this stop us continuing to have chats where we can? All a turnthread does is report the moves to be made, and what actually happens will be posted in the report thread. What's to stop me or UnOrthO from having a chat whilst carrying out these orders? It will hopefully not be necessary to have a chat, but why prohibit them? With luck we can even find a time that suits most people still. AAMOF, the chats (when they happen) may be at nearly the same times as before, just on different days ('cause I could make tthe previous times, just not on those two particular days).

Spiffor,
Thanks, ya beat me to it. So far none of the regional administrators has switched anything in the post to date. If so I will keep all informed.

I apologize Aggie, I need to add you to my list as you are now a deputy. We are doing a turnthread this time just to get it done ASAP. We expect to do it tomorrow or wed depending on when all orders are recieved. We will conference with all ministers on when they can do chats, and even IF they want to do chats or remain in threads. I'm a bit busy updating the Directory thread to do much else right now. That will slow down when it is finished, and I can start assisting the Boss with the other things.

While this is definately off topic, I couldn't help but respond.
Texans are in the AFC South with Jacksonville, Tennessee, and Indianapolis.
Their QB, David Carr, was THE MAN at Fresno State Univ. about 15 miles from where I live in central Cal. All of us around here have become huge Texan fans as a result.

As the taking of the french cities is imminent, I will need to post the build orders. Yet without knowing the specifics, this will be most difficult. I compleatly rely on the judgement of our leader, so I will offer the following general ideas:
Feel free to pop rush a temple, barracks, city wall or spearmen. Defence against counterattack is the number one priority, followed by flipping defence. I would reduce the risk of uprising by poping out a couple of workers or a settler and moving the pop to one of our american cities - dell montie would be good. The smaller the city, the less garrison it will need to keep them in order and the harder to have a flip. Temples are good in that once we start producing culture, the less likely a flip will occure. So once we have the land secured militarily, change to temples all around.
Once we have a little culture (first expansion) we can focus on domestic concerns (graineries and such), as the cities should be happily under our influence by then.

Current Foreign policy can be found here:
Foreign Ministry Office -- Term III
I will update this post when more specific turn orders come in. I'm waiting for a finalized map trading plan and awaiting any suggestions for tech sales.

As of now I am following Project lain for research since a new plan hasn't been discussed enough, plus it is doubtful my plans will matter in the next 5 turns.
Buy Feudalism and Monotheism if at all possible.
If Feudalism is bought switch to Monotheism. If Monotheism is bought switch to Chivalry.

Godking I thought a newly liberated city was under the control of the smc(or in this case his deputy) . Still I go with the same thing as you pretty much, build temple then we play it by need. You do bring up a good point, I was wondering how many need to stay in paris to prevent flip. On average we'll lose 2/3 units in the attack on paris. so we'll have about 5 swordsmen left. Probably 3 will stay in paris after attack. Also these will help crush resistance. Of course the average means nothing so I'll wait till we actually win to make these estimates.

How do people feel about starving some of the citizens in Paris it is a 6 pop and may have alot of resistors?
Although the pop would be good for rushing.
Dare we leave 3 swordsmen against a large no. of resistors?

I will wait to give specific orders about occupied cities until I actually see how things turns out since variables like losses, resistors, enemy troops can't really be forecasted with enough accuracy. One thing to remember is that when we take it, it will fall to size 5 and might be smaller if they pop rush.

You can find all of the relevant information about my 5 Turn plan here. I would appreciate it if this thread were topped as well, so that people could look at it and for it not to disappear.
Any questions about the 5 Turn plan can be posted on my Economic Forum Thread here.

Could I request that at least a few cities start on Horseman so we do have a few mobile units. I know it is probably too late for the french campaign, but they do have a purpose. I would like a 5 horse rapid deployment force, this could ensure our safety for generations(with the available upgrade to knights and calvary). Remember the best defense is a good offense. Also we will need at least one more spearman to escort the settler to uber island.
