Name the Region (suggestions)
Ok as of today our nation has been divided into regions one of which encompasses the following cities (ATM)
Apolyton
Tassgard
Termina
Banana H.Q.
Also to include (hopefully)
Chartes
Orleans
Rheims
If I can figure out how to post maps I will do so tomorrow.
As it is our birth place as a nation it's only right that we all should have input on what to call it.
So Suggestions

It is common for the capital area to be reflective in the provincial name.
Apolytonia would fit for the provine, for instants
or maybe simply, Polytonia, Poly, or
GAH! that's where he got lyton! apoLYTONia

I'm having a hard enough time thinking up names for my research projects.
Here is my suggestion:
Terminal Dogma or Central Dogma

How about something simple like "homeland province" or perhaps "Central Province", maybe "(whatever the name of that Jungle is) Province." Or just simply "Apolyton Province."

Hmm, name this province... which holds our capital, hence very important... hmm. When I look at the map I see that these four cities jut out away from the continent southward. And they're all coastal. Well whatever the name is it should recognize this fact, I think. Apolyton Peninsula? Seareach Province? Central Coast?

I think "Genesis" would be appropriate (since it's our birth province)

A jpeg attachment?
Hehe one guy was asking how to post attachments. Turns out he'd never been to the post screen before, and was just doing quick replies.
Asphinxia is waay to close to Asphyxia (death by eating too many bananas and forgetting to breath)

Mingapulco is perfect.
OPD,
If the file is too big, you must place it in a host site (my maps are on Yahoo Geocities). If it's under 600kb, decompressed, you just have to attach it in a post.

Ok, anyone who wants to see a map of region 1 can come round to my house and I'll load up paint shop for you.
Good suggestions so far, keep them coming. I'll probably make a poll of all the best suggestions sometime.

This is good. I was thinking we could call it Capital region, but then again, we may end up moving our capital at some point...
How about :
Capital Region
Banana Region
Alpha Region
Central Region
Caenan Region
Origin Region

Thanks, OPD!
I just received the OPD sketches of the regions (my e-mail crashed last night). I’m going to work a little and the maps will be done in the afternoon. Sorry for that delay…

The maps of the Regions are already done. You can look here .
Edit: After the conquest of those occupied cities, the cultural borders will vanish (if I'm not wrong), that's why we have so many lacks in the maps.

If the province is to be named Ming then Chartres should be renamed Mingapulco, the provincial capital. Mingapulco seems more fit for a city than a region.
How about the "Southern Seaboard" or the "Banana Coast".
