Fictional Americas 1.6
Who's feeling like playing a game of Fictional Americas 1.6, the coolest scenario ever made? I call the Vikings because I suck.
Vikings: St. Leo
Irish:
Chinese:
Romans:
Phoenicians:

Wow, never seen this scenario, but I'll give it a try.
I'll take the Chinese because I have no idea how this scenario works.

Vikings: St. Leo
Irish:
Romans:
Phoenicians: Henrik
Chinese: JMarks
The attached events file assumes that all five players will be human.

Who made the scenario? I was playing and the skirmishers didn't attack anyone. Doesn't matter to me in a PBEM, but just thought it odd since it is the Native's only attacking unit.

Who made the scenario?
The guy who called it "the coolest scenario ever" made it (i.e. me*).
Should we start if no one else is interested by monday?
* Actually, I think that should be (i.e. I). That's how it would be in Latin, but English is just too confusing.

(I decided between them and the Romans by flipping a coin )

Question, shall we hold out for a Roman player, or try to pick one up along the way? Otherwise, who starts?

Actually it would be i.e. ego. But the way we use it in English I think demands the accusative, or whatever we call that. (I'm better with Greek/Roman case names even though there are more than in English )

That's a big question because humans and the AI have different events. Personally, I'd prefer to do without the Irish than without the Romans because the Phoenicians will end up with all of South America and they need a threat other than the Viking navy.
Order of Turns:
1) Vikings
2) Irish
3) Phoenicians
4) Romans
5) Chinese

Whoo hooo! Start the game Leo! Oh, one last question. What difficulty are we using? I don't really care, but it'd be nice to know.

We need to use Prince difficulty to reduce the AI's influence on the game

The Emperor overseas has blessed our presence with a general. With Sun Tzo, we shall conquer the western coast in the name of the Emporer overseas. May his spirit be with our endevours.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumd...?s=&forumid=72 - PBEM faq
Viking adventurers have set out for the interior of continental Vinland for glory and profit.
For the duration of these explorations, we propose a Non Agression Pact to the Irish and a line of division along Sven's River (St. Lawrence).

Brave Irish warriors have slaughtered several bands of natives.
The Irish government agrees to the Vking proposal. You stay on your side of Sean's River (the St. Lawrence) and we'll stay on our side.

War Journal of Sun Tzo
1001AD
The three jewels of the emperor's colonies are flourishing exponetially. This land has many posibilities. However, barbaric warriors were seen on the outskirts of one of our eastern fortresses in the great mountain range. I shall go meet them and try to communicate the phathomless mercy of our Emperor overseas.
Before I set out to east, I ordered the colony's junk fleet south to explore the coastline.
:Edited for redundancy:

Leif Erikson's Journeys
We have occupied a longhouse settlement of the Algonquins as a base for further expansion into the heart of Vinland. Our ships have begun a slow trek along Sven's river.
