How many times have you been banned?
This thread has inspired by certain highly publicised bannings lately...
So, how many times and for how long?
Also, how many PCR's have you had?
Well I'm appy to say that I've never been banned (although I have caused people to be banned from time to time... )
I did get a PCR recently, which was very embarrassing because it wasn't even a good PCR...
So, fess up!

Geez, i don't remember. Black Saturday, and I think at least one other time, so i voted two. it may have been 3 or 4 though, i can't recall.
black saturday was the biggest ban though, along with an 800 PCR

I've had one ban.
Instead of a country flag, I said I was a Dalek.
Evil stuff, indeed.
No PCRs thankfully.

Hmmm, it's just occurred to me that this thread will be hopelessly skewed for a while - given that the latest crop of banees can't vote...
Skanky - how the hell did you get banned for that? Did you at least get a warning?

So he was merely pointing out some shortcomings in their system - he should get a medal, not a banning!

I havent been banned, but I have been warned due to my profane language use (using numbers that look like letters so a word is not bleeped). Ming was rather pleasant though, and forgave me, I guess after I apologized. Im just glad I wasnt banned. Ive found myself strangely addicted to this forum, as of late....

No warning, but Cybershy (who used the same method to say he was a Moderator) got banned. I made a single post saying I didn't think Cyber deserved to be banned for that, suddenly I had a weeks holiday.

*shakes head* First week at Apolyton. Started my own thread as soon as I got on because I was so angry that my registration took three weeks. Wasn't a mad thread, just a thread by some newbie on the Civ 3 General forum. Some princes looking for custom avatars got into it, and slowly it turned into a spamfest. I joined in.
My banning words were, "I am the SPAMINATOR!"
100% PCR, one week banning. And oddly, I cared more about the PCR than the banning then, thankfully I've changed.

It had nothing to do with your post.

I'm glad you stuck around after that though.

The exploit is still there to be used.
I was mainly doing it to:
a) Show that some of the flag options in the code were incorrect, and to
b) Point out that the control panel setup allowed this type of exploitation.
I thought a gentle, humorous use of the exploit might have shown Mark there was a danger, possibly before someone sadistic caught onto it and used it to actually do some damage.
It obviously failed, as the code is the same as it was those many weeks ago. And 5 of the flags still don't work.

Is it that people have trouble remembering your name, Jon? Or do you just like the name a whole lot?
(Haven't been here in awhile... just noticing the profusion of Jon Miller's everywhere in your post)
Yesss... I seem to remember you spamming there awhile, Skanky. And I think Provost was there at the beginning. He told me to come to the OT, said I'd be hated for being a DL at first, but that soon people would grow to accept me and that they really were a nice bunch...

Posting that sort of info will definately result in me being banned. Consider that my answer.

I remember that. That was the closest to any punishment I've ever had. After spamming the thread, MtG said he was considering a PCR for me, but nothing ever came of it. Other than that, I've never come close to getting banned/PCR'd.
