Although I think the government has no right to regulate sex, drugs, and the arts, Government has some place in our lives in terms of safety. I would be for a massive electronic surveillance system, maybe even ID implants of some sort. But only for the purposes of crime prevention and/or gaining evidence in crimes. More or less, a system that tracks your location. This would be helpful in solving murders and improving the judicial system. I am for capital punishment. I am pro-choice, but I want a society where abortion would be unecessary. My goal is to have 0 abortions, but by choice not by law. I guess you could call me a Communal Idealist.

I think its hilarious how people believe in free market. Would you want to play a sport without any rules or referees? Sure, its okay to have self regulation with a small amount of players. But with billions of people, you need rules and referees. Most people would agree with me that you need referees and rules for sports, but yet when it comes to money, something important, the same people think the government has no place. IMO, anyone with a positive value can be put in the greedy category.

We shall eradicate the very causes of every crimes, not the criminals, that are only victims of the system.More or less, a system that tracks your location. This would be helpful in solving murders and improving the judicial system.

I'm sorry Pande, but if somebody rapes a child, murders another human being, they shouldn't deserve to live in society, or be supported for life in a prison. They should be put to sleep. Or my alternative is to create a life support system for their heads, decapitate them (while keeping them alive), numb their ability to feel (no pain), lock them in a box, and shoot them into space to float forever until their brain dies of natural causes.

No, they just dont deserve the title of "human". They need to be cured.

Pande, I've seen some people that were pure evil. Some people are pure evil and cannot be cured. If the capability to rehabilitate is there, then I would be for it. But nothing I have seen has led me to believe all people can be cured. They need to be put to sleep where they can't hurt anyone else and where they don't take food off of the plate of someone else who is starving.

I'm not a communist, you forget.

I don't think that just because someone is a janitor that they aren't good enough to live at the same quality of life that I enjoy.

If the state provides health care, education, efficient mass transit, energy and communications. Then the janitor won't need to be paid as much for his services because most of his needs are met.

Basically, I want to cut the amount of wealth people get from their jobs dramatically. You would put that money into creating efficient systems that everybody can use. Then what small amount of money you make will be the basis of your personal wealth (i.e. luxuries).

Should everybody be paid the same? NO! Should everyone have the same opprotunities? Yes! Should all of their needs be met by the state? Yes!

Beyond that, markets can be as free as possible.

I want the state to control:
energy, transportation, education, health care, food, and provide a basic level of housing among what the state currently does

Any other commercial market can be almost completely free (held to today's legal standards).

Oh. Last time I was called a "stalinist" just because I have trust in man was by a revisionnist, lepenist. Communism means nothing, bts. If you take marx theories, they never say a police state has to be, they say state must be abolished. Without state, there cant be any slavery, death penalty, etc...

The problem is that the government has almost always been proven inefficient at controlling those things you mentioned. It turns into a swollen bureaucracy, the members of whom take most of the tax money, with no incentive to actually create an efficient system.

and how do you sustain the right number of workers in, let's say, energy? If few people want to work in the energy 'market', would the gov't raise their wages to attract more workers? Or would they simply force people to become energy workers?

The state is necessary to protect the people because you will have slavery, death on an enormous scale because it will be natural selection. The fittest will survive and exploit the weak. Please don't tell me that you believe anarchy will be free of slavery and death.

Nope, Albert, you pay people wages according to demand... that's one thing that is good about a market system. But I think that all the manual labor should be paid at an hourly system. This would allow people to work in multiple fields and to be versatile in their job skillset.

But it all has to start with somebody strong enough to keep the system in order. This is the hard part because you would need a dictator, but one who would not abuse his power. Rome survived for hundreds of years on such a system. I think we can improve on such a system.
