Yes, that would also be a good Trip avatar. Still has nothing do to with the demogame.

I am interested in the position.
EDIT: since Captain is resigning, how exactly is his replacement chosen? Is it by the same nomination/confirmation deally that a regular justice must do?

Yes, Kramerman. Except just to finish his term. 2 months basically.
The terms are staggered to allow different Presidents to nominate judges. In each Presidential term, at least one position on the bench comes up for reappointment or someone new.

Yeah, i remember that part from when we drafted the bill. I just was uncertain about the procedure in the case of a retirement. But now that I think about it, it seems fairly obvious that it would be the same as if we were just appointing a new justice. Thanks for the info though.

Some other people have asked questions on the same topic, so I thought I'd answer you and them at the same time.

It would be helpful if they would change their avatar but it shouldn't be required.

well my dear friend , you recieved at least 48 boxes of banana , ......
since your signature and great seal is on the bottem of all the paperwork , .......
it must have been a small detail you forgot to look at , ....
say , should a judge not be able to take over when a minister becomes sick , or goes on holidays , ....
have a nice day

hi ,
indeed , but sooner or later we shall have some problems with that , ...
example , the minister , the deputy and the second deputy are out , for what ever reason(s)
maybe in some instances its better to have a judge at that time , ...
or to have a judge "overlook" when the P or the VP take over at that time , and a couple offices are not there , ...
have a nice day

Yea, or if there aren't any deputies, it's up to the minister to either A) appoint one, or B) post his or her orders in advance.

I would love to be a judge. I mean, I have no real opinon on whether or not I want to be a judge. But after careful objective analysis of the evidence, I have ruled that it would be in Apolytonia's best interest to have me as a judge.
