My alien crossfire CD is ruined....suggestions?
I decided to go re-install alpha centauri today(for the the thousandth time, who hasent?), got the CD installed it.
Went to go find my alien crossfire CD.........after hours of searching found it behind the cabinet where I store all my computer stuff, its been there for at least 5 months, and is now so badly damaged it is unusable.
Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? If you have any "creative" suggestions pm me, otherwise post here.

Sure. 1) Buy a CD cleaning machine and re-buff the CD surface. You have nothing to lose. I did this after my laptop ate my AC CD, creating a large number of deep 'chatter marks' as the nasty grinding tore up my poor CD. I thought it was a goner, but the re-buffing worked. 2) Make a backup. I haven't had any luck with this, but it's worth a shot, assuming you can get the CD up and running. 3) Buy a backup for AC. I did this (in fact, I bought 2 backups) after the cd-eating incident. They can be purchased for about $7 US/each plus shipping. I forget the company in England, but they have a good supply of AC disks and have very prompt service. I can get it for you if you wish (if someone else doesn't remember).
Good luck

Tried cleaning it(I got one of those hand powered things, looks a little like a fan from the side), tried copying it(worked in the past...didnt work now). I dont know of any stores near me that sell it(I looked). I cant order it online because im a minor(17) and dont have a credit card.

Maybe you could ask someone with a credit card to get for you. As far as I know, the only place you can buy it is Software First, who have a link at the bottom of this page.

Oh really! Maybe I bought the last one. Now all I need is the XP patch so I can actually finish a game!

I just looked it up at www.softwarefirst.com.
Just select the platform you have and search for crossfire.
It costs GBP 5,- (=USD 8,- or so) shipping costs not included.
Now the only problem is to find someone with a creditcard
