Oh, I get to name a city...Suggestions here
I guess that comes with the job.
I am not a prideful person, however, and will through it to the public.
Post suggestions for a name here. I will choose a few and poll on them. Looks to be either Orleans or Paris.

How about Lutetia? (It'd work well if it turns out to be Paris, actually.)

If you get to name a harbour, I'd go for "Port Rouge"
(the province is likely to be called "Ile de Rose", so it'll remain consistent with colours said in French. Plus, "Port Rouge" sounds nice )
If you name a continental city, why not "Right Way" ? After all, orthodoxy is doing things the "Right Way"

I veto Ogdenville. In RL I live in a town called Ogden. Too close for my taste.

In recognition of the irreplaceable role played by the free press.

jdjdjd has requested the name of paris be changed to:
"Tete de Jeanne"
which if I remember right from the discussion threads (for province names) is something like "Head of Joan".
As jdjdjd is a justice as well as the pw administrator for that reagon, and viewing his history with the french.... well, I would like to see the name stick. I am not in charge of the city naming however (at least I don't think I am...) so however we can make this work.
Thinking about that, even if I was in charge, we do have procedures set up so I wouldn't go around them. What do you think.

Veto on Gazette HQ.
The Gazette's main office is, and always will be, in Termina. With an emergency press in Banana HQ. More presses to follow.

My advice is certainly biased, but i must tell that it does not sound well, IMVHO. Let it in English, they will never end with Joan.

Wasn't Ogdenville the town where the Simpsons moved to once following Homer's career advance to working as a work supervisor in a nuclear plant owned by a James Bond villain?

I don't think that is it. I haven't seen that episode in a long time yet I remember hearing Ogdenville recently.

I agree with Capital City. I was thinking about that but then remembered we already had one It could serve for a forbiddon palace.
What were the other towns mentioned in the Monorail episode?
North Haverbrook?
NOTE:
Ogdenville was in the monorail episode.

I'm thinking that the name "Dinkle" would make a good name for a city...
