you can choose between:

*if Commissioner is impeached the alpha-talent takes over
*if Commissioner is impeached the alpha-talent takes over until a election has been held
*if Commissioner is impeached the game freezes until a election has been held

I think i dont have to put in choices for the alpha talent because he doesnt do much execpt post polls and help if someone is away.

I'd say the game wouldn't need to freeze if a director is impeached. But in case of the commissioner, yes.

in the case of the alpha talent taking over commissioner, he's already the runner up from the commissioner elections, so he won't be a bad candidate

Both for "alpha talent takes over until a election has been held". However, I want an election to be held ASAP. The AT cant take over forever...

i wanted to first put in: until a 3 day election was held

but i dont think you can say that we need time to get candidates and a minimum of 3 days for the polls is needed

Alpha talent takes over for the Commish or directors, pending a re-election. If he's already performing the duties of the Commish (or two directors), freeze the game and call a new election for that position.

i think that i like the idea of alpha talent takes over until elections is best but that will take Atleast 6 days 3 for nominations and 3 for elections that is what i think

Besides, we aren't getting any impeachments, are we? Even in the divisive Civ3 game there has not (yet) been any impeachments (although it seems that some would wish that Ministers could impeach citizens

).

I would however encourage a quick election if the Alpha Talent felt they were unable to perform a certain Directors's job, or if they had TWO jobs to take on. I'm sure you agree that these scenarios should be HIGHLY unlikely.

Be careful...
in c3dg we jsut had elections with only one person running against banana for most positions.
So if you don't have an alpha, what do you do?

well alpha is runner up in commissioner elections and now just hope there will always be 2 candidates for commissioner

but i will think of a rule to put in the constitution today. have a lot of spare time today. i am going to finish the constitution for aprovall of the CC and the entire faction today
