The Apolytonian Geographic Society - Tactical Map
A Tactical Map, with all troops involved in our actual conflict is already done. The link is here .
It's a jpg file, 300dpi, 32X19 cm, 1.7 Mb.
I can divide the map in smaller pieces, separating the two fronts. What you think about this?
Comments, suggestions?

Good idea, are you going to update Region 1's (Mingapulco) map to now that it's gained a city?

Thanks. The idea cames from wervdom.

Its hard to make actual knowledgable assessments without that sort of exact information.

About Mingapulco, as soon as we can.
Probably tonight.

Excellent. maps are always a great way of keeping us well informed. They allow us to make truely wise suggestions.

I love the maps.
Never have time to open the save, so most of the information I base my posts on comes directly from the forums -- and having high quality maps at hand makes a good deal of that possible.
Great work, as usual!

Right now the plan is for the 5 swords that are free fafter the 2 for garrsion, will attack marselles. The is significant debate about the archer stack though and their orders could change.

Also, the plan is to attack Marseilles before we attack Rheims because if we get Rheims first, the capital (currently Rheims) might switch to Marseilles and then we'll have a harder time getting Marseilles.

Great map, Aro. Thanks a lot.
May I suggest you to use texts without background color ? So, we could see the inoccupied tiles better.

Thanks, astrologix. Yes, I could make in this way, but with a background slightly transparent, otherwise the contrast between the terrain and the letters will not be sufficient to an easy reading. I’ll work on this.

Btw, caesarqbear is doing a fine non-political map, and we need the names of rivers, mountains, valleys etc, to put the data on the map. Could someone help?
Edit: Hey, that was my post # 300... I'm a prince now... Cool!

The natives are getting restless for an updated $mini-game map.........

No prob. just remember Orleans is now Port Rouge so you might want to rename city before capturing the map.

Hate to be a critic, but:
1) What's with the yellow lines? I can't use it for the $Mini-game any more. Is that some sorta copyright?
2) How come it doesn't include the whole region, you left BHQ's outer city limits off?

makes him feel big
EDIT:
Also are you saying that that land is part of mingpulco, even though it's pretty much shared with loveshack?
EDIT:
Unless you mean the land to the NW. I do not think we should describe our regions based on culture at all. Geographic features is #1.
EDIT:
How about the boundaries are that NE border, continuing NW up until the river. Everyone south of the river from there is part of mingpulco.
EDIT:
Yeah why the heck or those three other cities part of mingpulco anyway.

BHQ's the only city that can use the land to NW, W, and SW. Besides, it adds more potential land to Market One.
I've always assumed the land to the NE is part of Region 4, I belive it's called "El Nincapoop" now.

Personally I see these as better borders. I apologize for ms paint.
EDIT: This works entirely on the rivers, occasionally taking a straight leap. I know someone already arbitrarely decided where to put borders, just want to make the point these are better.

I'll post a provisory map with the first corrections made by GhengisFarb. About your suggestions, could you post again the image, using another color to sketch?

If you just draw right along the rivers, it looks like this attached image.
Now we don't NEED to go by rivers alone, or every river. The game doesn't state what rivers are wide and and which narrow, so we can decide what the major ones are ourselves. I'd draw along other lines, but there are no other natural marks in that section really.
The culturable borders with a rival at any given time would also be nice to establish a provincial border.
