turn/time moddable?
from Jeff Morris's GameSpy interview:

Quote:
Yeah, the problem with that is the modified tech tree, artwork and how it heavily modifies the game. Turns in a WWII scenario don't really work if one turn represents a year. Rather than take that upon ourselves, we're letting the people who really love the history of the eras do it. We're giving them the tools to do it.
Does this mean we can set what unit of time one turn represents?

I think yes.

In civ2 the wwII scenario one turn represented 2 months.

You will propably be allowed to modify the time rate in the editor.

hi ,

there should be something like this inside the game ;

every turn between year Y and X = 1 year

every turn between Y and X = 5 years

something in this nature would be great

what is also needed is a start and end date for scenarios

have a nice day

We were told by a Firaxian that the time step could not be changed.

I believe that was prior to this interview, though
