Been there... but I still like to experience the joy of discovering stuff myself. Besides, there are stuff I disagree with most people, strongly even. And it helps pass time in school. And I don't want stuff chewed ready for me.

What about cooking ? Free meals were fabulous in here.
As i can´t cook very well I´m applying for the cook´s assistant.
Until we get a real chief cook i´ll have this position .
Here´s according to my abilities and the few sort of lifeforms on planet the much too short menu
Chopped Psych Worms with Lurk-Blood Sauce
Lurkroast with Moonson-Salad
Fungus Tower Schnitzel with deep-fried worms
Pickled Spores
Some Spartan merchants told me bout a sort of milk they get when they dig into captured IoD s with a heater at the top of the drill. I refused their product cause i think this is cruelty to worms and i really don´t know what to do with it.
I also would recommend some new drinks :
Doceagua ( from the nearby Freshwater Sea )
Red Sol de Mesa ( wine out of the good sunny Mesa fungus ; tastes fine with the sea lurk )
White Yugo de Suelo Pholussia (a wine I can´t recommend completely; a little too sweet)
Enjoy your Meal !

I don't know any (alcohol ) drink with an alcohol content of less than 4%. Poor 16-agers...
Schinkenjoe, I'll add your suggestions to the menu in the first post.

Ah, the Recreation Commons. You know, I've always thought that the Rec Commons have always summed up the character of a based. Why even the Commons at the Hive epitomize the sleeping demons of Yang's "utopia"...
Now, as for a drink...no thanks, I've brought my own, you see. It's xenonade, and it's great stuff. As for what I'll have...I suppose I'll have the Fungal Tower Schnitzel with deep fried mindworms. Now, who'll join me in a friendly match of Holo Chess, with those impressive 3D graphics that jump right off the board? Afterwards, we might like to go down and see the nerve stapling at 6? Alright? Splendid.

What are you guys doing? Talking about Eva and not telling me
I only found out about this thread because I was browsing the OT and Redfern suggested we search for our names on Poly to see if people are talking about people behind their backs.

Hey, guys, you want a good book recommendation?
Get 'Provost Zakharov's Big Book of Recycling Tank Jokes', you'll love them...
Here's one...
This Talent walks into a bar, and sits down opposite a beautiful woman. After a short time, she sneezes, and her glass eye shoots right out of her head. The talent, well, he catches the glass eye, and returns it to her. She pops the thing back in, and gives him a big toothy smile. In gratitude for his kind act, she invites him over to her place for dinner, and breakfast the next morning. After a wonderful dinner and breakfast, the talent asks her why she is being so friendly to him.
She responds with...
...Just a second...
...Are you ready?...
"Well, let's just say that you caught my eye..."

Ah well. Here's your drink TKG. Xenobrew. You'll love it. Unfortunately, Morganite has a monopoly on the stuff, and so it's bootlegged, but it's pretty darn good all the same!

Well, hey, don't tell anybody, TKG, but last time I was having dinner with Morgan, I got him to tell me what was in the stuff...little did he know that I had a mini recorder on my lapel, and I got the whole thing down...now, if you could take this to the Lab, and brew up a copy...well, we could make a fortune! Hahahaha!

Ade is back...
Hi, all of you... you might have noticed (or then not, you bastards ) that I have been more or less unavailable for the past few days (weeks maybe, can't remember).
Well, to put it short... I've been having some positive - and afterwards NOT so positive moments in my personal life. I wouldn't care opening my heart to you guys (sorry... ) but you might guess what this is about.
I turned 18 a few days back, also (13th of September), and in Finland that's the legal age to buy alcohol (and I'm also adult in legal terms etc... blah blah).... and so I just had to party my brains out... and as you might guess, it had that aforementioned "not-so-positive" effect on some of my personal matters.. I just might say that I happened to say and do something to someone that didn't appreciate it too much.
Afterwards, I've realized how moronic I was, but it doesn't help the situation at all since I'm really too embarrassed about it all to even talk to the person in question.... I won't go deeper since like I said, I wouldn't want to reveal you too much of my personal matters... perhaps I've already told you too much but I just fear that I might be losing a dear friend (who I might have hoped to be more than a friend ).
Hmh... at least none of you really know me on these boards.
...my point concerning this SMAC-Demogame is just that I might be a "little" uninspired for quite some time... Well, so far I don't really have any duties as the Director of Foreign Affairs... but in case something comes up, notify me and I'll think about what shall I do.
...but like I said... in one word: uninspired is my present feeling. Sorry. I'll get over it. In time.

LLoyd
I 'll have a drop of the Black stuff and a FungalBush Whiskey my good man, or failing that an Isle of the Deep single Malt.
Have you anything fungalterrean on the snack menu

Heheh, no, I have years of experience as the greatest party-loonie (and if not the greatest, at least one of the founding fathers of the looniest party-gang...) of my hometown... so I only did what people expected of me
...and of that 100 euro, only 20 was my own money, other 80 I got from my relatives.
But like I said, no money will compensate that what happened to me. I would've lost 200 euro or all my savings rather than someone who really meant something to me
And the other thing that makes me disregard the money loss is that I'm now the proud "record-holder". The last record was 500FIM (~80euro), my friend did it 3 years ago, when he turned 18.

Oh, and it's kinda tradition here that the birthday boy (or girl in some cases) is the most stupid and drunken of the whole lot, spends most money etc...
And I got congratulated about the fact that I'm the best successor so far
Yeah, without that one particular part, I had fun...
