yeah... that's what I was talking about TKG... the constitution looks great BTW, DBTS, IMHO. I just couldn't think of it when I was writing that response.
I wonder how many more abbr. I can work in?

Hmm... Anyway. I was wondering, do you people think parties or coalitions play an important role? It's obvious coalition members don't vote on their coalition candidates, even some party members don't vote on their party candidates (Tassadar). Together with the creation of citizen organization like the Network Node and the Merchant Exchange I have the feeling the importance of parties will be much less than I first expected in this game. Thoughts?

Perhaps... however I know that I supported GT whole-heartedly and was thankful that he returned in time to throw his hat in and win...
Also, don't discount the fact that we haven't really seen what the parties and the citizen organizations can do yet... we may seem them as another place for party members to get together and discuss things, or we may see them wither and fade. Personally, I doubt the later.

You're right. And as the meaning of parties might lessen, they still add to the fun of the game and make the roleplaying more realistic

I hate to say that but...
*Drinks a Hive mind stuff bottoms up*
...I agree with you. Parties are mostly for the fun of it, for the roleplay, and so that people can discuss more easily.

Hey I like the Parties, but we have way to many right now, some like the Capital Party will simply get no more support, others like the TSA *wink wink* will grow, depending on how much work goes into them.
I can already tell that P4 and the CCCP will not go, but to be honest I question the logetivity of all the othe myriad CDC parties which are all nearly indetical.

LSD is quite solid with its 5 members, 2 of them in Government..
And with "myriad CDC parties" you probably referred to EDP and CD... well, they might not have much members, but they both do have strong personalities to keep parties from crumbling even with bigger parties running over them in numbers... But future will show, yes.
I do tend to agree that we could (and should) do with fewer parties, though.

Why thank you.
I'll be sticking around, and hopefully I'll get some support in government one day. Until that day, I'll be keeping my party running as a one man band, and a centre-left alternative.

*Sigh* All I'll say is...the game hasn't even started yet.
The fun of parties hasn't even started yet But I do hope I'm wrong on this issue. If we can stay party politics free (to a degree) then....we can proudly say were better than the Civ3 Demo Game, even if were not as big as it!

'mah'. 'My'. Couldn't figure out the equivalent of 'y' so I made a little detour.

Hmm... I'm just wondering if I should reveal the truth of you being my father?
Oh, but that cannot do. I already know that my father is either Friedrich Nietzsche or M.A. Numminen (long stories, both)... unless YOU're one of them!

Only if you're either Friedrich Nietzsche or M. A. Numminen. Or if you're a woman and are actually my mother.
Of course, it's quite complicated, taken into account that you are born some 2 years after I am.
