Does anyone have saves before 2950BC?
At the start of the game there was quite some discussion whether to provide a save or not. Fortunately it was decided to post it. The first save game posted dated 2950 BC.
I have been saving all the posted saves upto now but I do not have any saves before 2950 BC. Does someone still have any saves before this 2950 BC? I am particularly interested in the 4000 BC save.

2950, 2900, 2850, 2800, 430, 350, 290.
(I could have sworn I had an earlier save...)
I don't even think the 4000 BC save exists, BTW. If you dig deep enough, you may find some pre-2950 saves, though.

You should probably ask Trip about 4000 bc.
Is he still around?
Even if he is you may have trouble finding him

Unfortunately Trip has left us. I hoped mrWhereitsat, UnOrthOdOx or Ninot have it but I have not yet seen them here so it may be lost.

Thanks, I won't ask.
* Franses sits back, eagerly awaiting the result of UnOrthOdOx's digging action.

While we are waiting. If anyone is interested I can post the save files I have (thought I had them all but I see above that I am missing a few after all, probably my holidays). The ones I have are:
2950, 2470, 2430, 2070,1910,1725,1000, 950,925,925a,690, 570,510,430, 350,290,210

Bad news. Prior to 2950, the standard was to distribute via E-mail the save, not post it. This was the VP's job IIRC. If someone can track down Space05s...he MAY have the first save laying around still.
We have full REPORTS with only a few 500 year gaps laying around still, but no further saves unless someone was on that list. I'll go track down that list..., but ministers at the time would be a fine place to start:
Uber
Timeline
Ninot
Tassadar
Spiffor
Epistax?
That's all I can remember from top of my head.
Reporters were required to recieve the save as well:
Reporters of the time:
Moral Hazard
Sirotnikov
I'll look more later. And get a final list of who was around at the time and on the list. They may have it sitting in their game still, who knows?

Break out the E-mails guys. Here is the list of who POTENTIALLY has older saves. Chance are SOMEONE doesn't clean out their save files often...

/me is curiously rubbing his posterior as if it had recently experienced some violent pain
Guess who volunteered to dish out the save to everyone for Trip right near the start? Yes, way back when I was just a sceptic about this game, wanting a little taste of power, I was just a messenger-WhereItsAt.
It doesn't help much, but here it is, a sparkling new copy of the 3950BC save.
And UnOrthO - you only had to ask. You didn't need to do all THAT!
