actually I thought of something similar on my own:
Regarding the from of his head he must have some dwarfen relatives. Well actually I'm a little bit confused about this strange guy on the right in the 4th row. What’s this? A ninja? He looks like an arabic terrorist regarding this strange hood he wear. Whatever he may be he isn't a ninja definitely.

Why not? Maybe for a medieval japanese scenario ...
But he may be an arab assassin, too.

Yay, the Internet made it in! Also, we can look at the Arab UU...
I'm worried about the Radar towers a bit for MP.

Hey!! That map with Carthage and part of Sicily on it actually looks reasonably accurate (the shot right above the weird ninja dude). Guess I can hold out hope for creating a decent ancient Rome scenario....

I thought Arab Assassin too. The only other time I have seen them in a Civ-related game was the Civ2 Expansion Pack (Crusades or Jihad scenario, forget which one).
Has anyone noticed that the watchtower/radartower/whatever it's called has a line of sight reaching 4 tiles for the mountain one and 2 tiles for the normal ground one? I assume that means that either planes have been scouting or you can get a really good view into what is going on with some strategic placement on mountains/hills.
And there's nothing I like more than to watch opposing Civs battle against each other in wars 'm not involved in!

Yeah, that does look like a good mediteranean map, I hadn't even noticed actually till you mentioned it Stuie. Perhaps Firaxis has made agood scenario themselves.
Also, what is the Internet monument supposed to be?

I concerned about the Radar Tower too - because of a major inconsistancy.
According to the Civlopedia entry: "To construct a Radio Tower (I believe this is a typo - should be Radar Tower), move a worker to any land tile within your territory and select "build Radar Tower." This is all well and good. However, take a look at the second to last screen shot. I count 5 Radar Towers that are built outside of the player's borders! So Firaxis, how will these towers REALLY work?

And it consumes your worker too, that kinda blows, unless Im misunderstanding, but why would a worker be consumed into a radar tower?
I noticed another tower, look like a look-out tower for ancient times, whats that all about? only 2 tiles visible beyond yer culture border?

Yes, it is my impression that the Radar Tower gives the host civilization a offensive/defensive unit bonus for units within 2 tile radius of the tower.
The Look-out/Watch Tower pushes back the fog of war by a 2 tile radius of the tower.
I wonder if we'll be able to increase the Watch Tower's radius in the editor...IMO, the Watch Tower should have a 3 or 4 tile radius.

I seem to remember reading that the watch tower was more effective on hills and even more effective on mountains.

Too bad Infinite Railroad Sleaze is still part of the package...
Let's hope the group movement feature works as advertised.

Everything looks great to me. Ragnar Lodbrok as Viking leader is a surprising choice, but a good one. He was, of course, the greatest of the sea-kings, a Norwegian who conquered Denmark, Sweden, Paris, and died a'raidin' in Northumbria.

I take it from the last screenshot that the Viking UU will be capable of anphibious assaults. Pretty big advantage to give to an early UU -- but maybe that's its only advantage.

Probably because of the attack/defence advantage that it gives you. Firaxis most likely wanted to try and limit their use.

The ninja guy might be for the Feudal Japan set mentioned.
The radar tower could be manned by your worker; sounds reasonable anyway. Also, the radar tower one looks like one of their mock up games from around E3.

Firaxis, I need a picture of Hannibal for my leaders thread! We have pictures of everyone but him now.
Anyways, JohnM2433, I believe that in the IGN preview it was said that the Berserker is a Longbowman with upgraded defense, attack, plus amphibious.
And why is the Internet represented by a giant black monolith? I know it's hard to represent something like that with a solid building in the city view, but still.

The pictures and other Firaxis info released call it a Berserk.

I said in another thread that amphib assault that early in the game, with no railroads and fewer defenders per city is a huge ass advantage. I know what civ I'm playing when I take home PTW.

It's quite "refreshing" to see all those dirty barbarian faces as new leaders, joining the already 16 more "civilized"

If MP is stable and works correctly it still might be worth buying but I will have to get feed back from here at poly before I fork over any cash. Once burned is twice learned...

Yeah and I'm really "anxious" to see the design of his modern suit....as well as Brennus's modern "facelift".....

Yeah, both of those would have been very welcomed improvements (for me at least). Im sure as soon as PTW comes out though there will be plenty of gov and tech mods. I just wished they had been included....

Yup and I also like Jeanne d'Arc (of course before she gets to the modern area). I wish we could see more of both of them would give the game a whole new dimension: wohoo.
