I think that's Ghengis' "The-Mongols-are-getting-their-butts-kicked" face. I'll bet his visage in better times is less grotesque.

It's not a giant black monolith, it's a server.

That's what it is? I had been thinking modem, or network card or something like that. I suppose that's the best representation - if any - for something rather abstract like the internet.

Actually, I don't know, I'm just guessing. But, just like you, I think it could be the best concrete representation for something like the web.

Where do you find this statement? In the "We didn't want to become a monopoly it just happened to us one day" Microsoft guide for customers ?

Anyways, JohnM2433, I believe that in the IGN preview it was said that the Berserker is a Longbowman with upgraded defense, attack, plus amphibious.

Re: 14 new SCREENSHOTS (
If you look at the civ-selection screen, the names of the various civs are listed in a strangely inconsistent manner:
By "country":
Rome, Greece, Germany, China, Japan, India, Egypt, Babylon, Russia, America, France, Persia, Zululand, England.
By "people":
Aztecs, Iroquois, Mongols, Vikings, Celts, Spanish, Ottomans, Arabs, Koreans.
Some of those "people" ones have countries associated with them - why "Spanish" and not "Spain", when we have "England" rather than "English"? Of course, some of them don't have countries. You'd have to say the "Aztec empire" or the "Viking empire" (or the formal name no-one has heard of).
The first batch of names can all be converted into the second batch, though (Romans, Greeks, Germans, Chinese etc.).
Yeah, it's just a finicky point, but attention to detail is one of the things Firaxis is traditionally very good about.

One good feature I'm looking fwd to is the multiple unit movement in a stack. All that unit moving across a large map is killing me. Behold! My armies shall now march in order!
