Settler to fill the gap
Bhah I wish Godking were here.
As he isn't I'd like to suggest the building of a settler to fill the gap that will be created when Rheims is razed.
Timeline can build a settler in 8 turns if a slave is added to the pop. (WB?)
Timeline isn't in my region and so I don't have the authority to build it. Only GK can do that and He may not be able to make the chat so should we do this?

Eh
Slave or not, I'd prefer it if we didn't have to lose any workers for any reason. Do we need a settler that bad? I suppose I can be persuaded, but we have too much work to do at the moment and I feel losing a worker (even a slave) will only hurt our efforts.

pop it , if needed , that gap could be the start of war , it would give the AI an advantage in terms of defense , ...
fill those holes , or wait until there is nothing but one big hole , ...

Having a few settler at hand in wartime (wheter you are at war or the others doesnt matter) is always handy to fill in gaps.

This could work , I did it sometimes in my games. We have roman, greeks, american workers. One or two should be used in this way. There's a cost in shields, of course, I don't recall how many.

As Rheims wasn't razed this issue is no longer valid.
Instead perhaps we should think about putting a city between Chartes and Rhiems.
See Shibers thread.

Oh great OPD (sucking up cause I want my Mingapulcan tiles worked), I can fully support this.
I also agree we should fill those gaps before the one between Termina and Timeline.

Is that written in stone and thrown at MWIA's head cause I don't think all the orders got followed they way they were meant to be in that 210 BC save.

MWIA does his best and does a fine job.
Chats are a bit ridiculous though now as there is so much going on.
