no, with alien crossfire, you may still only play with 7, but you can pick which ones. (all old factions, all new, a combination of old and new)

Nope. Never more than 7 factions. The only way you can play with a number other than seven is through use of the scenario editor. Then again, you cannot have more than seven; you can elimiante some to have fewer than seven.

Here's the correct way (not including accents) ...
Pourriez-vous poser vos questions en langue Francaise?
Peut-etre que quelqu'un pourra y repondre.

By no means do I have these memorized - I just know they're 130-160ish, and the 'é' and 'ç' I know.
Pourriez-vous poser vos questions en français? Peut-être nous les comprendrons mieux et quelqu'un pourra y repondre
Something like that. I don't nearly have enough experience to truely know whether I've made any sense.

Non. On ne peut jamais jouer avec plus que sept factions dans une partie. Il faut jouer avec sept factions exactement sauf quelqu'un en a éliminé employant le scenario editor.

Yeah, well, I only did French to the age of 16. It took quite some effore to work out that "pourriez" is the correct tense for that sentence...

Hmmmm...
was it perhaps a pun about the fact that "pourriez" also could mean "you'd rot"? (I guess...)

In that case, would you have to use pot pourriez to get rid of the smell?....

Don't presume that people from Montreal use French properly. In many ways the Quebec version is unique, due to their relative isolation from France for so many years. If you go up into the north especially it's Quebecois, not exactly French. There's a difference.

Sorry when I sound a bit picky, but you might think about using question marks after a question. You English sentence wouldn't have been correct but correctly understood, and this is what counts. I was in doubt whether you asked a question or posted a discovery without explanation.
