Is it just me, or are Onnontare & Neodakheat both built on the water?

but when does a "our warrior has been destroyed" message pop up? the only time i can think of is non-combat units (settler, scout)

It could happen if destroyed by barbarians, I never really noticed.(Or lose to barbarians)

Wohoo finally "Pirates" do what they are supposed to do (pillaging towns). Now when they are also raid the seas for merchants our wining and complaining seems to bear fruits .

That is the result of cities built on water. Something I have done several times in my own testing.
Results are as follows: Land units cannot occupy such cities unless on a ship; roads do not connect to the land like traditional roads; you have to enable roads/railroads on water tiles, and even then, they don't work like real roads/railroads. Naval units can attack and pilllage towns, like in the screenshot. My experience has been with Barbarian naval units. They raid it like they would if it were a regular city, but have to use naval units to achieve.

side note:
you know this is just firaxis throwing out some screenshot to make us speculate things that wont be in the real game at all.
they probably sit back in their fortress in hunt valley and laugh at us. REMEMBER THE DAMN DNIOSAUR? HUNH?
