chang auto build list
Hi:
How do I change the auto build list order?
I mean what is the name of the text files that holds the list. can't find it.

There is no set list. The AI "advisor" decides what to build next. Needless to say, its decisions are not very good.

Actually, you can create a file called CITYPREF.TXT which contains a first line @AUTOBUILD. This file can contain a list of city improvements exactly as they appear in rules.txt. Then, in your city screen, select auto, domestic advisor. Each city thus automated will build the improvements on the list in order, if the tech is available. For example:
@AUTOBUILD
Temple
Granary
Marketplace
Library

you don't want to auto anything in this game.
Get rid of "instant advice" also.It is almost always bad.

Can you set caravans in cityprefs.txt? My would look something like this:

According to official resources you can only specify no defense units being built automatically. Put a line on the top or bottom of the list.
