Director of Base Production: Build Queue 2
New poll on queue for BAse 1 (New Apolyton)
New poll on which Secret Project to build first

Well, last time we built a Garrison (Scout) and are working on a Colony Pod. After that (from the last queue) is a former if we have the tech.

If we cannot build that, what should we go for, and then what?

When we have a second base, do we keep the same queue as for base 1? (Garrison/Colony Pod/Former)

Let me know your thoughts. If there is a clear few queues, then I will poll on them. If there are common elements without having several clear-cut queues supported by more than one person, then I think all I can do is try my utmost to assemble a compromise queue.

Any problems with what I do, tell me here and I will change. It's what I do.

Finish the CP, then build a former (if we have the tech by then), then build the Recycling Tanks (whilst setting the former to mine the mineral resource square). If we don't have the former tech, build a scout after the CP.

After the CP, a Former, or if we don't have the tech, another CP. Both CP's, if possible, should be rush built once the base is at pop 2.

As for the 2nd base, keep the same queue.

former, if not another pod, then former. if there is no scout, build one, if there is, build the WP.

I think we ought to get formers ASAP, but not at the expense of expansion or of garrisons for new bases (without which we have just designated several thousand citizens as mindworm food).

TKG's proposals have my vote, with the modification that I would defintely want to build CPs in both bases before starting on an SP. Switch to SPs in all bases with no prosepects for expansion and you lose 40+ turns of expansion and population growth.

Edit: Looking at TKG's post again, I see that he already says this. Well, my mistake. That proposal once again has my full support.

We have

Colony Pod (building)/Former/Recycling Tanks or
Colony Pod (building)/Formers/Secret Project

The SP requires a separate poll, which I will go and make if it is under my jurisdiction. Time for some polling. Good to see I get some clear choices in queues here, and not 20 different random assortments of things to build! It makes my job easier.

Ack -- sorry to keep switching my position here, but... tanks are a must before Secret Projects. The extra minerals (both directly and harvested by the extra population the nutrient bonus makes possible) will offset the time taken to produce them.

I'd support building Recycling Tanks before starting the HGP or Weather Paradigm.
