In the DIA, we're whipping the protestors to make them feel less unhappy, and still working hard. Then, we give sell them some dyes so that they feel happy. And our economy works well

Yeah...real nice...

When we have enough beakers that we may be called enlightened, then we'll whine about slavery. Oh, the whining shall be such the like that you have never heard before.

Another fine example of DIA floating policy. Constantly changing, and obscuring the facts. At least they remain consistent in that their policy WILL change.[/roleplay]

I would like to join, and also, is this a separate entity or part of the UFC?

UFC = Hawks + Imperialists
but also
Imperialists = Dead
so locically,
UFC = Hawks

the first post basicly has our position, not too complicated. War=good stuff, don't give in to DIA peacenics.
jdd2007 is the chairman, i'm the vice-chairman, uber is our great leader
The party office positions don't mean all that much anymore, besides for who responsible for making the main thread. The last election we had for party offices was 2/3 months ago and only like 3 or 4 people voted. At this point each member is more responsible for shifting, debating, and formalizing Hawk policy.
Thanks for joining the party, you've been vocal member

I will continue to be so, just let me know if I get TOO vocal
Excuse my ignorance on another issue but what members of our party are running in this election?

This is the party to be Vocal. We have quite an outspoken group.
Election? Duddha is running, as well as you. I would have to go look it over more closely to be sure who else is. I am not for personal reasons, but will likely take an offic...er...run for something next term.

I hope I can rely on the vote of the great Hawk Party in my bid for Minister of Imperial Expansion...
Arnelos started a thread for the DIA and even though it looks like they don't have as much of a support base as before, they are organizing, I believe we should do the same, someone should create a list of our candidates for each position

Unortho,
I've been keeping track (for obvious reasons) of who has been making noises about running for stuff. To the best of my knowledge, only the following Hawks are either running or have publicy stated that they are considering it:
Duddha (for Science)
Meshelic (for IE)
History Guy (perhaps for City Planner?)
UberKruX (was talking about President, but wasn't necessarily serious)
As short of a list as that is, it outnumbers the number of DIA people if you were to list us up... We'll see, it's gearing to be an interesting election.

I look forward to this election as well, I'd like to see how it turns out. The thing I enjoy even more though, is just watching this process of the "democracy" game being played thru. I think it's fascinating. And in the end it really doesn't matter if I win or lose (vote Meshelic!)
it's just the level of amusement that I get out of this that makes the difference.
