I have faith, not religion. IOW, I don't think the standard-bearers of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism would be a proper fit to my faith. The closest analogy to what I believe in — and I don't even know if it's the right one — would be the faith of the plains and woodlands Indians of North America.

I'm christian, in the sense that I feel the teachings of Jesus Christ are the way to salvation.
But I have numerous disagreements with the church. I definitely am not "religious."
I guess If you had to put me in a group, you'd call me a transcendentalist. Not exactly a religion, but it is the structure of my faith.

I am atheist... but I have the tendency to live and let live... I am not as fanatical as I used to be as Asher is now. I find that being fanatical does nothing to help my cause.

The last thing I saw a religious preacher did was ask for $5 in a "generous pledge" to help his bank account in Zurich, erhm, some starving kids in Zimbabwe.

I certainly don't qualify as an alledged "Jesus Freak" reall, but I DO consider myself a Christian.
What do you think about Judas?
Bad deal, huh? I mean, here's a man, integral to The Plan.
He hangs himself in dispair, is scorned, and you never hear of a parent naming their son Judas.
Talk about a tough row to hoe.

I suppose I may still qualify as Christian if you have a broad definition of the term.

Well, I will pray for everyone tonight to see Jesus! To have an encounter with the Holy Spirit, and to be saved from eternal seperation from God!
Have a blessed day!!! :-)

You people disgust me. An obvious DL makes a thread crying out for attention and I'm the first to do the DL dance.

Most of the "what religion are you" polls show that 50% of apolytoners are atheist, with the majority of the remainder being Christian.
Dino: I dunno whose DL this would be--the "Jesus Freak" comment is self-deprecating enough that I doubt that he's a Cloud9 or CivNation--but nevertheless...

It was last in existence about 2000 years ago. Assuming of course there ever was such a person.
That applies for Jesus as well.
Jimmy, Christ is a title not a name.

Jimmy doesn't know the difference between a person and a title.
Wine is not blood. Not even after magic passes are made and ritual phrases are said. In the US its still Mogan David afterwards.
