An extra HP to a bomber is not much help against a JET fighter. I rarely bother to build bombers at an airport. OTOH, since fighters may tangle with other fighters, I usually build them at airports exclusively.
With Stealth Fighters/Bombers, their having Hit Points seems to be quite pointless.
