Science Advisor Poll 1AD
I've been totally over run by homework this week, and i apologize for posting this poll so late.
Literacy: (great library) allows: invention with engineering, philosophy with mysticism, physics with navigation, and republic with code of laws.
Polytheism: (elephant) allows monotheism with philosophy
The wheel: (chariot) allows engineering with construction.
Masonry: (city walls, great wall) allows: construction, mathematics
mysticism: (oracle) allows astronomy with mathematics, philosophy with literacy.
warrior code: (archers) allows: feudalism, iron working.

a little personal dilema--> wich one should we ame for first:
1)Philosophy(so we get the free techs(or has somone else already discovered it?) )
2)Invention (so we can build Leonardo's workshop --> free upgrades(keeps army up to date without the need to build units ))

OK, we've got trade and we're building lots of cities. Heading for Repub and Demo. But first --
We need Pottery and the Happy Gardens!!

Not really, there's a majority for Literacy, but allow me to correct the situation anyway.

Definitely Literacy afterwards Mysticism to get Philosophy. The extra tech could be very important and we should always take everything possible. I doubt the AI is on the same course as we are concerning my experience the computer always researched one line completely (e.g. Pottery, The wheel, warrior code,...) and than began with the next era. So aiming the techs as we do we surely will be the first one at Philo.

I agree with you, and when we have Mysticism we can head to monotheism becoming both: strong offense unit (which is a strong defense unit too, when properly used) and the ground capital for a repulic (cathedrals and Mike's chapel).
But I suppose we've been overruled by the senate
