Haven't we named the Greek Island yet?
Btw, it's Abananaba Minor. Like Banana.
Why do people insist on misspelling this name? Is it so hard to type Anabanana? I mean, abanabana. Annah-banana. Dammit.

Sorry, Shiber... I used an old overlay, bur I'll fix that in a few minutes. Don't be so sad.
About the Greek Island, I don't know. If someone could give me the correct name in the next few minutes, I'll fix it.

IIRC there's a thread about naming geographical features. I haven't been following it lately though...

I like the empire map. However I don't like a couple of things it shows.
I don't like holes. There delphi, mycenae, chares, and rheims hafta go. I would wager they will all soon culture flip except Delphi, and it wont be too bad.
To the SE of Timeline (and N of termina) there is an ugly looking hole. Even once we own chartres that hole will still be there What say a city N, N, N, NE of Termina? While it would conflict with quiet a few squares, it wouldn't with others- completely wasted squares (many along rivers).
From what I see now, there are plans to rip up loveshack and probably move it where Munich was. If we do that, we'd loose quiet a few usable squares. I keep looking at it and can't decide quiet what's best. Maybe loveshack goes NE,NE, and a new city goes NW the highest dye in that area. That use up the most resources.

To the best of my understanding the MoE's plans are to build New Munich separately while keeping Loveshack.

But Panag...
From the260 AD save, we have the World Map, the Coastal Map (Mare Nostrum?), the Uber Isle Map, Apolytonia Map and the Geographical Map above. I’m late with the Tactical Map and the Empire Map, but the people in the last turnchat know about my RW (Real Wife ) problems.
About the toponymic (the discussions are here ) maps, and the maps of the Provinces, I need the data before start… Especially about the provinces, I’m lost. I couldn’t find the appropriate thread. Could someone help me? Ada gave me a link some time ago, but what I really need is a list with the provinces, the names and the cities of each one.

Thanks a lot, Panag!
About making maps, I've tried once, and I couldn't, but this was before the new editor (with the mini-map, a great feature!). Maybe I should try again...

You know the "Mystery City" GF proposed in the Ministry of Imperial Expansion main thread would be perfect for a capital, it would be like building a city just for a capital like Washington DC.
Apolytonia DB (District of Banana)

Well I guess a Trip D.B. isn't such a great sounding capital name, eh?

I have a mapping request, actually.
We are comming up on the invention of the Printing Press. I want to do something special in the Gazette for that edition, if not continuing after that.
Can we get one of these thumbnails done in a Black and White and not just look like a big blob? And could one be done for EACH edition?
Later, with newer technologies, I will likely incorperate a color copy, but think a black and white will be appropriate to begin with.

UnOrthO, I made thumbnails in black & white for the World Map and the Empire Map, both from the 380 save.
Please, let me know if these maps are ok or if you need more contrast, or something.
The first, the World Map:

I like the second one!
(my conversion to B&W looked like crap...)
OK. Once we get the Printing Press, I will contact you with an E-mail address for you to send the map to if that is ok with you.

It's ok to me, UnOthO.
About the conversion to B&W, there's some tricks. I generally work with each layer to obtain the best results. Some colors need to be changed, etc.
