Oh hell, I dont know Frank....the best game I ever played in civ 2 mp was on the large stock map that comes with the game. We had 4 people and we started at random places in the world....one ended up in North America, one in Europe, one in South America and I started in Australia.
Its up to yall, but I think the stock world map, however un-realistic, was a lot of fun to play with.

hi guys, i an happy to start a new one too.
my preference is for a small or medium map but with several islands. i expect that to result in less early fighting.
i think we should keep it a no or one wonder game.
i don't mind playing the world map if everyone else wants to, although it does make exploring less interesting once you work out where you are.

hey all....think we got off to a decent start to our space race last monday....unfortunately I have to work tonight so won't be around this monday. If you do play the game we started last week, please have a suitable sub fill in for me...please don't let me go to the AI

maybe makeo could fill in for you, or otherwise we could try to have a short game on a small map (maybe saying the winner is the one with the highest score at a specified time) this week and continue next week

No it was just me and Frank and by the time Simon showed up, mind you like 5 or ten minutes after 7est,(I am an inpatient bastard) I had already made other plans; so its all the same for next week.
