I did a write-in vote. I'll decide later who it's for.

I voted Archaic. Give the guy a break. It's not as if SE is going to be a load of work this term anyway. Not that Kass or MWIA aren't first-class candidates as well, but I feel we should wave the carrot as well as the stick.

i'd vote for kass, but he's said he can't be as active this month (though his constant presence in the chatroom leads me to believe otherwise )

Well this month ends tomorrow. But the DoSE doesn't need to be too active at this part of the game, OTOH.

I know I wind up able to be on the forums a lot on machines far from my AC installation. Maybe that's what he means.

Which is why it is perfect for me - I'm around enough to be inactive.

I don't really mind if MWIA takes the job - in some way it'd make my life easier.

So, what are our three candidates short term vision regarding our SE choices?
Are you going to push the Science Team to orient research in one way or another, or simply let things happen as they may?
In other words, why should I vote for you instead of everyone favourite mascot, Xenobanana?

Tough choice, between two of the ACDG's best.
But...my vote went to MWIA. Sorry, Kass.

I'll keep the race exciting for some longer. My write-in vote goes to MWIA!

Well I had, erm, the election isn't over yet, so I have plans to get the tech rate up as soon as the penalties aren't too big.

OK... I think we're neck and neck. Maniac's write-in vote was for me, puzzlingly, as I am on the candidate list.
Anyway, keep on voting - a deadlock would be interesting to say the least....
And as far as SE choices goes for the short term, we will have nothing to change for a while. Green is always nice, especially with the worm capture bonus (and is it me or do you always succeed with the first worm you try to capture?). A Planned economy could be good in the short run too, with bonuses to growth and industry at the expense of our small amount of energy (efficiency loss) - this could allow us to expand faster early on, and then switch to something more efficient when we have all those formers cranking out boreholes and mirrors.

Thanks guys! It appears DoSE is a bit of a lame duck position rigt now (like Foreign Affairs), but I intend to be as active as I can with other areas of the game until we get some SE choices.
Kass, my son ( ), a good close race - I love it when there's uncertainty about what will happen. Congrats on your strong showing in this poll.
See you all on the forums!
