Straybow whines again ;)
I get a "javascript error" notice at the beginning of the page load (but it goes away so fast I can't check it). All attached images and custom avatars come up as broken image links. If I right click and view the image php regains the ability to display that one image.
Maybe browser (N4.79) dependent, since nobody else is complaining.

Also: banner ads have disappeared. Probably the initial javascript error.

I use 4.76 and get the error messages, but I can read the messages ok, which is all I care about.
As a Solaris user, I was going to say something about IE and websites that assume IE as browser (not that apolyton does), but I restrained myself at the last moment...

Call it what you like. At least I am free to use Netscape 4.78, Mozilla 1.1 or Opera 6.04. I can install and deinstall these browsers whenever I want or not, I was never able to do this with IE on Windows 95 I removed most parts of IE 3 by hand but I was never able to get rid of it enterly. On Windows 98 I did not try to delete it, but it is much harder to do it, and I wouldn't call it freedom if I have first to contact Micro$oft just to deinstall a piece of Software.

I see no problem to recommend a browser e.g. best vieved with browser X, as long the page can be used with another browser, even if not every feature can be supported so that you need an alternative feature like the Apolyton full screen mode for chat. But it is a problem if the browser identification is abused to not allow non IE user to view the page.

Bill Gates is a tool of the devil. I only use IE if I can't get N4.79 to work. If I weren't so lazy I'd use a different OS.

I'm a tool of the devil, too.
But I've been less successful at it than Bill.

Upgrade trog
I refuse to upgrade. Still using Win95 because Win98 was less stable, ME less stable than 98, and I wasn't about to mess with W2K or XP. So I still have IE 4.x (whatever came with the last version of 95) because the next upgrade was the one that merged IE with Explorer.
BTW, what game is your avatar from?

I must agree Win95 is more stable than Win98, and there are problems with XP and the most important game here.

The last version came with Win95 was IE 3.?. Interesting is that Win95 created some files related to IE 3.? called mm256.dat and mm2048.dat, I tried removing IE 3.? from my hard drive entirely, unfortunatly Win95 recreated these files everytime I deleted them, I don't know if you can find these files on a Win98 system if yes I wasn't able to find them so far. IE 4.X came with a lot of unnecessary stuff, e.g. the active desktop and it blow up my windows folder enormously. So it went off my hard drive as fast as it was on. I guess some sort of system integration was included. The only good think are these icons on the task bar. IE 5.0 was better, because it didn't added all the unnecessary stuff, maybe because M$ assumed all users installed IE 4, before upgrading to IE 5.
