Hero's War
sounds very nice... good ring to it
and i don't like the idea of calling a war a method of clensing.

I'm sorry, I just have to vote for the Great Patriotic War... just my oddball sense of humor, I guess...

The Great Cleansing is an awesome name, but I like "war of the wonders", because we took the Pyramids, and we built two (in the greatest city in our empire, Ubergorsk).

The 600 Years War is the one evoking the 3 campaigns against France, Germany and Persia.
War of the Wonders is fine, but reminds only the Persia campaign.
Hero's war is good for any war !
And the Great Cleansing is ugly ; Apolytonian heroes cannot appear during a cleansing, even a great one !

War of the Wonders .
We not only got three wonders through our wars, but it could argue that they allowed us 'other' wonders as well -- expansion into French Territory, the aqusition of fine French Wines, solidifying our place as a world power, etc.

War of Wonders!
Because thats one of the things we were fighting for control of.
It seems to be a popular choice, with those expressing what they voted for. :-)
I don't know about this vote changing...it might just be an attempt to make ones vote "count". ;-)

Well, today, several famous individuals were interviewed over what they thought the name of the war should be.
Jed Clampett: How 'bout 'The Great 'Coon an' Squirrel Chase Turned Hog Wild'?
Adolf Hitler: Ze Great Klentshing!
Mao Zedong: How about 'The People's War for the Extermination of Just About Everybody Else Hahahaha I'm a Raving Lunatic'?
Clint Eastwood: I don't know, but you look awful familiar, stranger...
Ronal Reagan: The...what was the question?
and...
Hilary Clinton: The First Great Struggle of Humankind to Assert Women's Rights...sorta...and to Ensure Political Correctness...ummm...and...and to...
Well, obviously no one agreed on what it should be amoung them, but I personally like the 600 Years War.
