I do have msn. I haven't really been on the computer much lately though. I've been amusing myself by painting WH40K minitures instead.

Spanish Turn.
Spain is building up its army, after a 3 year civil war, it's time to start normalizing the Spanish State.

Can someone post the most recent rules.txt. I think the one that I am using still has the old movement values for ships. They were changed right?

Italy, triumphant but exausted by it's conquests, regroups and reorganizes. Rome has become a crossroads of the world. The diplomatic revolution has isolated the British, depriving them of their former hegemony in world affairs.
Il Teche warns against a British counter-offensive. "They are far from finished, and still command the largest navy in Europe. Much danger, sweat, tears and blood still lie ahead. Much gold, adventure, casual sex, and cheap beer await those who persevere in the great and noble quest. Europe arise!"

Sorry for the delay.
Commando Supremo announces the fall of Malta to Italian naval forces today. Operating in cooperation with units of the Soviet Black Sea Fleet, Italian battleships blasted Malta's redoubtable fortifications into rubble before infantry landed from waiting transports.
Malta will serve as a temporary base for the Italian Fleet, but will become the permanent base of the Red Navy in the Mediterranean next year under terms of an agreement between the Soviet and Italian Governments.

Argh, it seems I cannot for my life remember which password I used for this game. May I remove the passwords once again?

Go for it
(you should just do what I do: use the same password in every game, and then write it down )

Or do what I do...don't use any passwords since using them accomplishes nothing except making it harder when someone wants to replace you.

OK with me too. Could you put in a temporary password for those who have them before posting it, though? You could email the temp pwords to the individual players.

Actually I am not sure I can put in passwords for you.
Not without seeing too much (I'd have to do it by loading your civ).
Anyway I'll do the password removing and play my turn today.

Short Comunique from Berlin
This month the German ambassador in London delivered Germany's declaration of war to the Brittish government. While no hostile actions has yet been undertaken it is belivieved that severl flottilas of bombers are on their way to London as we speak...
Germany has now come to her allies aid (not that it was necesary looking at how things are going in the med. ) and it is expected that Brittain will either sue for peace within short or be defeated in less than a year.

Hey guys. Sorry to say but I'm not having much fun digging the UK out of the hole it was left in by my predecessor. I don't think I can continue playing a game that I derive no enjoyment from. It would only mean long posting delays and that would spoil it for everyone else. Sorry
Maybe we can play some other time and I can start from the beginning.
PRIME MINISTER ASSASINATED
Shocking news is reaching us here at BBC World Service. At 19:30 hours last night a bomb exploded in the centre of London killing thirteen people and injuring many more. Among the casualties was the Prime Minister who had been meeting key military advisors. He was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead at 20:13 hours. A right wing para mlitary group has claimed responsibilty. Parliament is in a state of paralysis until a new leader can be found.
