Turkey wonders why Italy has chosen to crush the popular transition in Greece? Particularly when there is further potential for Italian expansion in the Balkans but due to our geographic location, none for Turkey.
Oh well, never mind. Turkey has no choice but to offer peace with Italy as we don't have sufficient resources to compete with the Great Powers and must sit back and make no positive contribuation to the game in future. Can a compromise be reached? Does Italy intend to continue its war of conquest against us?

Turkey occupied a sensitive area, which Italy considers part of it's traditional sphere of influence, without any advance discussion with Italy whatsoever. Turkey even had the gall to take a city which Italian forces had cleared, but had been unable to occupy. All of this was presented to Italy as a fait accompli, followed by a "let's be friends" diplomatic message. Under the circumstances, Italy could not accept the situation, and was forced to take action to reverse it.
Italy suggests that Turkey make more use of diplomatic channels between our countries in the future and that it not attempt to conduct such discussions through the international press.

Um, just like you've done you mean? Anyway, are you going to continue your invasion, or is the crushing of peaceful Greece enough to fullfil your appetite?

Look, the intention was not to create war with Italy, more to give Turkey something better to do in this game than sitting around researching engineers. I did not think that Turkish troops would be attacked without warning, and judging the relative strengths of our nations, it is quite likely that a compromise could have been reached without violence. Now that you have taken your revenge, is Italy prepared to compromise? There are other areas in the Balkans that Turkey could occupy with axis agreement.

I'd think that there are better things Turkey could do to make Italy back down than sit there and whine. For instance I think Russia said something about reserving the right to invade the Balkans and while Italy might be strong compared to Turkey they are pitiful compared to Russia.

The strange thing to me seems to be that while no diplomatic message was confered upon the Italians, the germans got one...
Naturaly Germany replied that it would sanction nothing without Italy's concent, and suggested the turks ask them instead...
However it seems no such message was sent.

All the diplomatic messages were sent at the same time, or one after the other to judge foreign opinion. It was not possible to delay the posting of my turn until all replys were in. Having received favourable replies from other players I thought I might take the initiative to occupy Greece. I know now that this was a huge miscalculation. The foreign attaché responsable for this debacle is now conducting diplomatic relations from the inside of a big bag at the bottom of the black sea. (well, the parts of him that weren't fed to the mountain lions)
Turkey has no wish to cry over spilt milk. We want to put the matter behind us, but need to know if Italy still plans to wage war against us?

Denmark Invaded!
The German government has grudgingly declared war against the nation of Denmark.
All of Denmark Except for copenhagen is now in German hands, any foreign intervention will result in a declaration of war...

The Italian government announces it has reached a peace agreement with the Turkish Government. The Turkish government admits it's aggression against Greece was "ill-advised" and has withdrawn from Canea, which has been occupied by Italian forces. The city of Alexanderopolis will continue as a Turkish protectorate.
In Rome, Il Duce, Benito (the Bean) Mooseollini was credited with a great victory and a generous peace. "Hey, it's just the kinda guy I am. It ain't personal. It's just business. Fuggedabout it!"

Nothing to report. Except that France would like to know if Britain will still uphold its promise to defend the Low Countries in tandem with French forces?

All of Denmark is now in German hands as Copenhagen falls, furthermore the Nation of Sweden has been invaded, large parts of southern and western Sweden has allready been occupied.
The important northern parts of the country are expected to surrender with the fall of Stockholm.
The swedish capital is expected to fall before new years eve.

Nutter, I've been cursed with that thing that keeps you from dl-ing stuff from Poly. It tries to download 'attachment'.
Anyone knows how to solve this? Meanwhile, could you mail it to me, SunTzu?

Just DL the file as an attatchment, but name it 'turn.net' or somesuch with the .net suffix. Your pc will recognize it and set it properly.
