War!
Soviet Naval forces have engaged some of the many British warships which are arrogantly sailing directly off our coast line, despite the British government being asked to withdraw the ships last month.
The many British sailors which were rescued from their sinking ships will be sent to education centres in the Urals so that they may learn their duties as Soviet men.

Britain is at war after the Royal Navy who was protecting the independent nation of Finland was attacked by the evil Red Navy. That is a mistake that will cost them dearly as half of the Royal Navy is being dispatched to the area along with a Carrier and 10 Spitfire's and Medium Bombers

First reports are that, 1 Large Freighter that was loaded with 1 British Infantry regiment that was headed for Helsinki, and 2 Destroyers that were protecting Helsinki. The Soviet navy made the mistake in leaving 4 Heavy Cruisers and a Battleship to make a hard counter-attack against all Russian's in the area.
Ah War, you gotta love it

France would like Great Britain to cease its operations in Finland and not try and cause an armed conflict.

The British Government respectfully refuses to not go to war after 4 of our units were destroyed, we shall take Leningrad and then maybe we will want a cease-fire

The Soviet government was acting purely in self defence. The warships of the imperialist Royal Navy were practially inside Tallinn harbour!
As for their boasts of 'taking Leningrad' the British government is reminded that while the Imperialists are strong at sea, the Soviet army is more then a match for their pitiful police force.

We request that Italy remove their destroyer from Barcelona, the people there are getting a bit nervous.

Interesting. That destroyer was safely in port when I finished my turn. Perhaps Captain AI's son "borrowed" the keys when he wasn't looking. Does anyone know if this "Control-N" actually does anything?

Right, 1 update. Dont think anything was changed that would cause this. The current rules.txt should have '2.' at the very top of the file, first line. In case someone's is different here it is.

The Baltic Sea Fleet's Raider Squadron has destroyed a British convoy off Denmark.
The Baltic Military district is recieving massive reinforcements from across Russia. Any British troops who land on Russian soil are dead men.

Also France would like Britain to stop blocking passage through the Pas-de-Calais. Don't underestimate the gravity of this request

In case you haven't seen it I was caught cheating:
http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...65#post1464165
I'm now asking everyone here nicely if I can continue playing in this PBEM. I haven't cheated here and from now on my saves will probably be checked often. If everyone here is okay with it I can continue playing Spain.
