Please, the guy has no clue. He got the **** kicked out of him on a medium map 1x1x and again blamed it on huts. The moron doesn't understand that on a larger map if the guy gets good huts you're truly ****ed. And what exactly is the difference between Nicosar and Narz? I see no difference. Even their name sounds similiar. Who really is going to play on a large map with small land masses with only 2 players? All he wants is a little island to himself so he can play sim city. Obviously he was not cut out for MP.

Well... Narz has proved that he has won... Nicosar hasn't. Narz doesn't call himself a master... Nicosar does... Narz doesn't type 1000 words of crap when only 100 are needed... Nicosar does...

And Makeo... Part of Eye's game play is intimidation... He does it before the game... during the game... and after the game... It's not an act... It's part of his strategy. Most of us are used to it by now

I think you have that backwards Ming. Nicosar is the one that made that topic called "Nicosar's master challenge". Narz is pretty much the same though as you can see by his latest challenge.

Ming, you got your people backwards. I have beaten almost everyone I've played just not Sunshine (so far). I don't type any more than is necessary. Sunshine, why tell people to "shut the **** up"? No one is going to listen to you anyway.

Listen, I created this thread to get players and all you guys want to do is critisize and condemn the type of game I want to play. If you aren't interested in my settings than don't post here. Don't you have any better things to do?

Quote:

I don't know about you Ming, but I am not intimidated by this obnoxious kid, its a shame people think just because they're safe behind their computer console its ok to shout abuse at people. Its a sign of weakness not strength. And if thats part of his statagy... thats kind of pathetic.

Also, Ming, aren't you a Mod? I've noticed on Apolyton threads often go from a civil request for a game to insults and unproductive (and off topic) jabbering. Perhaps some action on your part?

Note to Sun : play me again or get off my thread and find something better to do with your life, nobody likes a flamer.

The MP crowd is a competitive bunch. Deal with it. If you were a regular around here, you would know that people get in each others faces... that some people beat their chest...

You either put up or shut up... that's the way it is.
I will admit that the style of the MP forum over here is different than that of CF... And I personally like it that way

No, but if ming wishes to flatter me that's his choice. Besides I'm not insulting you, just pointing out some facts so that you may better yourself and be a more productive citizen of society. I help people realize how useless and pathetic they are. They then turn that into anger and hate and so better society by their rage. Do you not understand that I am a savior sent by god? Do you not understand that it is my destiny to help you? Bow to me and accept divine guidance through the will of the almighty one.

You know Eyes, as much as a (fill in the blank) as you are, you really did help me learn something about myself. See, when I was on ICQ, before I spoke to you, a guy from CivFanatics named Dr_eamer invited me to play a four player MP game with him. Thats what I'd be wanted to do all along and I knew I would probably win but it seems dr_eamer is a stronger player than Nico and perhaps the other players would be slightly competitive as well (at least maybe if they all allied against me). The point is, the game would have been enjoyable.

But instead of accepting his offer, I went with my weakness, my primitive side that pushed me to play against you Sunshine. I let my anger and need for revenge drive me rather than the true spirit of competition. I now realize I do this more often in life than I realize and nothing good ever comes form it (except realizations like this). Perhaps every person is indeed put on this earth to help me learn something, even you Sun.

I now realize how foolish it is to let myself get irratated by someone typing insults at me from 2000 miles away.

Course if you think anyone is gonna bow to you, you're ****ing nuts. And for your own sake, you might want to change your attitude a bit, just a tip...

Here's an interesting conversation I had with someone on ICQ, you have to read it from top to bottom... :

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:26 PM, ***** said :
no problem. but when you use this conversation to expose him in the forums, please change my name to Aklyz. it is very important that you change my name in the chatlog to that and only that

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:24 PM, Narz said :
so I won't talk to him then, thanks for the info, I never heard of that guy anyway

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:24 PM, Aklyz said :
he's small fry though, watch out for red_lunix

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:24 PM, Aklyz said :
by launching the program if you start an icq conversation with him

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:22 PM, Narz said :
How would he be able to do that?

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:21 PM, Aklyz said :
ok - if you have civ2 installed on your HD and he launches the program before you expose him, it will literally fry your internet hub-knob

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:20 PM, Narz said :
yes I do

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:20 PM, Aklyz said :
You don't want to know...

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:20 PM, Narz said :
what is that?

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:20 PM, Narz said :
I am going to expose Sunshine right now!

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:20 PM, Aklyz said :
he will make your life hell through the use of X-Tiliifier

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:19 PM, Aklyz said :
I would suggest that you go straight to the forums and reveal this knowledge before HS finds out you hold the secrets

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:19 PM, Narz said :
how is it dangerous?

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:19 PM, Aklyz said :
it hands out free wonders. be careful with this knowledge I am giving you, it is very dangerous

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:19 PM, Narz said :
Wow, I can't believe these guys!

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:18 PM, Aklyz said :
he is a civ2 legend who cheats with opti wonder

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:18 PM, Narz said :

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:18 PM, Narz said :
who, what is red_linux?

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:18 PM, Aklyz said :
red uses OPTI_wonder v.4

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:17 PM, Aklyz said :
well we don't cheat quite as bad as red_lunix

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:16 PM, Narz said :
son of a *****, I knew he had to be cheating somehow

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:15 PM, Aklyz said :
It's very similar

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:15 PM, Narz said :
how does that work? its similar

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:15 PM, Narz said :
you could have told me in advance you know...

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:15 PM, Aklyz said :

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:13 PM, Narz said :

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:12 PM, Narz said :

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:12 PM, Narz said :

On Mon, Oct 14, 2002, 11:09 PM, Narz said :

On a lighter note, I figured out why my computer was "laging". I had a clock program open in the background that was slowing down my computer. Everything is nice and quick now as it should be.

perhaps i am being naive here but isn't this a bit far fetched? surely if you have a firewall up then no-one can "fry your internet hub"?

and why would so many others acknowledge that HSS / EON is at least one of the better players of civ2 if he does in fact need to cheat.

also i have seen zylka around the chatrooms having a 'frank exchange of views' with HSS. at the very least they have their own axes to grind.

and the conspiracy theorist part of me wonders if they could be one and the same, playing some jedi mind tricks.

i stand ready to be corrected by those versed in apolyton lore.....

I don't think I really need to reply to Nicosar. Holmes is referring to the fact that I played him some games and then got him in the chat room one night on here. I kept telling him in Kings chat what a **** EyesOfNight is and that I'm Zylka in the chat room. Since Zylka was in the chat room I started talking **** to him. So Holmes thought I was zylka and he started agreeing with me what a **** I am and how insecure EyesOfNight is. hehehe

I admit I don't really know anything about "internet hub-knobs" whatever that means, some of the stuff this guy was saying sounded a bit far fetched but whatever, alot of that other stuff he said I'm sure contains some truth, but its ok the cheater only cheats himself, perhaps he gains the "respect" of his fellow cheaters or those who fancy his to be a decent player but fortunatly I have enough self-respect to not have to try to impress every Tom, **** and Harry who is old enough to reach the keyboard and sign onto Apolyton.

As I said, if anyone wants to play an authentic game with the specifications I laid out before and no huts (what I will do is create a customized map, sign on with scenerio edit & choose "clear all huts", obviously I will see the starting location for one Civ so my opponent can choose the other). I'm sure there are other ways to cheat but if you do, like I said you're only cheating yourself. This challange is open to any honest player who wants a "real" game without manipulatable random factors that can give you 8 cities and five horses in no time. Are there any such players out there?

This thread is really weird.

All I can tell you Narz is eyes doesn't need to cheat to beat you in a duel, the guy knows the game.

All this other stuff is bazaar.

I know how good you are from looking at your posted saves at CFC, and I know how good eyes is, because he took the time to play a few quick starts with me, and then critiqued my games.

I really don't much care for duels, like the other old farts, I'm a builder at heart, but if I can find the time, I'll play one against you.

I'm a builder at heart also, what is your ICQ#, I will add you to my list.

Keep in mind, my older games on CFC don't really reflect my strength. For example, I played four game's on the month (GOTM). In May I placed 19th, June : 12th, July : 9th, August : 5th. I didn't play last month due to lack of time. Granted these games are not nearly as challanging as an MP game but I have played my fair share of those as well.
