Uhh, I'll play tomorrow. I'm too tired and right now and I have to be alert if I'm going to clear up this mess I've made.

Settle down man, I really didn't do that much. I captured some lightly defended cities but your armies are intact.

Meh, it still throws off the entire "Germans rules the early waryears"-concept. And I bet Pap is a bit annoyed too.

Hey, I did express concern to Darius because I thought it was bad, but according to him it sounds worse than it was. I am not upset at all, but I didn't know what was going on. I haven't done anything spectacular either. And in this scenario, the Germans are actually the best after the Winter months, so you have a little time before you become dominating!
Haha, long live the Axis

Oh sh*t I'm sorry man, on my thread I looked for a sub here and totally forgot. Do you still want Britain?
BTW David if he says yes, there is a game of this scenario starting at Historic-Battles too (click here), with Britain and Russia still available. Sorry if you have to leave this game because of my mistake.

Yeah, all he said was that he'd have a bit harder time because you didn't take those cities, that's all. Nothing like "dammit I'm screwed cuz of that retard Pavlov".

So then how would it screw stuff up for Japan if Germany isn't doing well against Russia.

Yeah, on the other hand if Japan complained about how Germany was doing in Russia I would think the German reaction would be something like "How nice of you to volunteer to fight the Russians".

I changed some of the graphics for the units, and I changed some of the later units around, so install the new files that are below, it won't effect our game yet.

Install these rules files over the ones that come in the first Units Update ZIP.
After talking with Darius, I moved down the defense bonus of the Defended terrain to be the same as Forests.
Be sure to run the 2194.bat again after you install these.

Sorry for the delay, poly was acting up again.
Der Führer takes command!
After the latest month debacle on the eastern front it was discovered that the evil Pavlov was an agent for the bolsheviks. Hitler has now taken over and repaired some of the damage done.
Small offensive in the east!
Sevastopol and Kharkov were captured. The SS have vowed revenge for the bolsheviks who killed so many of their comrades in Novgorod. A wounded Soviet battleship was sunk by a brave cruiser.
*Sunk battleship and transport in the Atlantic.
*German troops took Gibraltar. The English fortress was surprisingly easily defended.
*Führer announces Home Front!
Edit: Nutters, I forgot to Ctrl-N, here's the new save.

Peace!
China and Japan agree to temporary peace turns. Chinese ambassadors last month pleaded to Japanese forces to stop attacking. Japanese high officials decided that it would be a good idea to at least suspend the fighting for a while. The peace treaty is as follows...
China will clear out Hohot and Taiyuan and give them to the advancing Japanese forces. From that time forward Japanese forces will halt their advance. There will be no more attacking for 6 months, so until July 1942. At this time there will be negotiations as to what will happen from there.
Both sides agree that if either side does attack before July, there will be money given to the opposing country.

Have hope Darius, it could mean that for British India . Besides which the troops it'd take to crush me probably wouldn't put a dent in you.
Anyway about Gibraltar that was my fault, I tried to go on the offensive in North Africa...and used almost all the units defending Gibraltar.
As for my turn report:
Peace Declared!
The Foreign Ministry reports that an agreement has been reached between the Empire of Japan and the Republic of China. On announcement of the agreement spontaneous celebrations broke out in Chengdu and Chongking. The flag of the Rising Sun was seen flying from every pole available. General Song is quoted as saying "It is a great day for all the people of Asia, now Japanese commanders can turn their attention to more noble deeds such as liberating the people of India."
Sanctions Imposed on Imperialists
Troops under direct command of General Song have cut British supply lines into Mandalay and Rangoon. Furthermore American troops have been ordered out of the Republic of China. President Chiang has declared that further sanctions will be imposed if the Anglo-American Imperialists continue to take action against members of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere.

OK, I have a few questions. You guys know that me and Choke are at peace now, but we have changed our deals a little bit. Our deal is going to now involve money, so here is my question....
Should I change the events files to allow for communication with other countries?
or
Could Choke and I use Yaroslav's new utility that exchanges money?
If you guys choose against this it is fine because we have a seperate deal worked out, just wondering if it would be OK, and if it would help the scenario out by allowing Communication.
